Our stay at Mohua Motels was excellent. The facilities in the room exceeded our expectations - small matter such as it had egg cups for our boiled eggs! We had 3 nights and used the outside gas barbeque for two evening meals. It was very clean and worked extremely well - a good range on BBQ tools was provided. There was nice outside sitting space. It was a short walk into Takaka for cafes, shops and a few restaurants. As a bonus there was an excellent supermarket just down the road - again easy walking distance. The area has outstanding beaches within a short drive. Staff are very helpful and easily available.

The Rocks Chalets se nachází v Takace, 10 minut jízdy od pláže, a nabízí klimatizované pokoje a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Na místě je soukromé neplacené parkoviště. This was the best accommodation on our NZ trip. Not only was it dead quiet, comfy beds and super fast Wi-Fi with great amenities, it had its own glow worm cave!

Golden Bay Motel se nachází v Takace, pouhých 5 minut chůze od obchodů a restaurací, a nabízí dětské hřiště a neplacené parkoviště. Všechny apartmány mají terasu a plně vybavenou kuchyň. Loved the motel & the floor to ceiling glass in the bedroom out to the peaceful garden. The motel was very quiet despite being located just off of the main road. Lisa, at reception was awesome & brought us a portable gas weber bbq to prepare our dinner. We liked everything about this motel, free washing machine for guests + it was very convenient & close to Takaka center. We'll definitely stay here again.

The Station House Motel is located in the charming village of Collingwood, Golden Bay NZ. It was built in 1907 and was originally the Police Station. Amazing hotel with spacious owner. Room big with kitchen and good shower. Great restaurant right close to hotel with amazing breakfast.
