Archway Motels & Chalets offers quiet and secluded accommodation, only 200 metres from Lake Wanaka. The gentleman who helped us to check in is very friendly and helpful, we got our best meal in New Zealand under his recommendation, thank you very much!

Beechwood is situated on George Street, within the North Dunedin Heritage Precinct, a designated special character area. Very clean comfortable family room. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We were delighted to find that tea, coffee and some little milk cartons had been left for us. Our bed was large, cozy and we slept well. There was very little noise at all. The shower was powerful., and the body soap and shampoo were useful.

This place is a real gem. It's neat, tidy, clean, well equipped and a relaxing place to stay for a night or two. It's off the main road on the far side of the river from Roxburgh which makes it very peaceful. We would stay again when next time in NZ.
