The property is facing a beautiful lake and it’s a relaxing setting for those busy people coming to decompress there. They have outdoor and indoor, private Onsen ofurô, and the room was wide and spacious, including areas such as bathroom and shower, with separation of spaces, providing privacy. The eating/working room was across from the room which allowed my husband to read and check emails without distractions. All in all it’s a well thought space setting. Kudos to the architect.

This is one of the best places we have stayed in our many trips to Japan. The house itself is extremely inviting and comfortable, with heating/cooling options and all facilities, a wonderful outlook, and it exhudes peace and serenity. The private onsen is superb, and all rooms are spacious. The meals were meticulously prepared and presented by our charming and friendly hosts. The area is a great place year round. We explored the lake area, towns to the south, and the wonderful mountain areas to the north. All appliances and facilities had clear and concise instructions in many languages, and Tatsuya was proactive and quick to respond at all times.

Dormy Inn Akita is located opposite historical Senshu Park and is a 5-minute walk. from JR Akita Station is 8-minute walk. Free internet access and a public bath are provided. The staff was kind and accommodating - they responded to my requests promptly and compassionately. The rooms were nice, as was the location! I especially liked the hot bath on the 11F; you could see a beautiful outlook of Akita while relaxing.

All rooms have lake views, and the private onsen does as well. Sunsets from the private onsen, sunrises from our room - pure bliss. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. This is one of the places we will return to again!

Kyukamura Nyuto-Onsenkyo nabízí pokoje v destinaci Senboku. Jen 18 km odtud se nachází Vlakové nádraží Tazawako a Jezero Tazawa je 23 km daleko. Everything in this hotel was amazing. I was flabbergasted at how wonderful the baths were, and how comfortable the futon actual is. Tatami mats are such a blessing for the feet for how soft they are. The complementary drinks such as tea or Coke was a great touch from when you come out of the bath. The location was spectacular as I got to see so much snow, and that too I got to experience an open bath in the snow was picturesque. I honestly miss it so much. There was availability of extra blankets as well but the bedding already provided was so soft I did not even notice the fact it was cold outside (there is a heater in the room as well). Breakfast was fantastic (I missed out on dinner so I cannot comment but that would probably be great as well), it was a buffet style with a lot of different Japanese breakfast dishes to try from, such as fish, mini hot dogs, miso and rice, croquettes etc, so much so I had three rounds of breakfast.
