Very nice place for visiting Atami and relaxing in a private onsen. There was a kitchen and a fridge. Our room had a beautiful view to the ocean. Environment was serene and peaceful. Private onsen availability was good and general onsen was enjoyable. Many facilities and additional features. Food was well beyond expectations (quality and quantity). A pricey accommodation, but well worth the spend if you are looking to splurg.

This is the most wonderful place! Very nice and helpful staff, very good food, large, clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent location to start an early morning hike to the Tenjoyama Park.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. Great dinner and breakfast beyond my expectations. We have a Japanese style room with mountain and lake view exactly as described. Onsen in the hotel is great especially the 7th floor

Peacefully situated on the shore of Lake Kawaguchi in the scenic Mount Fuji area, Japanese-style hot spring hotel Kasuitei Ooya features rooms with stunning lake views, some boasting a private... The stay was well worth the price. We were able to drop our bags off before checking in, and also had them hold them after checkout. Staff were courteous and always available to help us out. The meals were delicious, almost too much food (but I feel like that's a common theme with ryokans, they keep bringing more food!). The onsen was also very refreshing and it was so nice to have our own private open air bath in our room. Definitely recommend

Boasting views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi for all rooms and hot-spring baths, Hotel Asafuji provides air-conditioned Japanese-style rooms with a green tea set. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and attentive - everyone from the shuttle bus driver and receptionists to the restaurant staff. Mount Fuji is visible from the rooms and also from the nice little onsen on the top floor. The shuttle bus service is very convenient to and from Kawaguchiko station. Both the dinner and breakfast were great and plentiful. The view gets a bit better as you go further along the lakeshore away from Kawaguchiko station, but we found Hotel Asafuji to be good value for money and the wonderful service made it a very pleasant stay.
