Highly recommend this accomodation. We had such a lovely time there! The owner even picked us up from the bus stop at 6 am and we were already allowed to check into our rooms then. In addition to that he gave us really good advices what to do in the area. Would definitely stay in this place again.

Yakov y Yansen are very nice people. All the staff was polite and welcoming and they 2 are great guides. They showed us torajan traditions and explained everything very clearly. I had the best noodle soup I have ever had in Indonesia. The place is in a rural area surrounded by nature, which makes it very pleasant stay

We had a great time at Villa Bait Lino, Lukas and his family are very nice people and invested to make you spend a good time. The place is beautiful, you sleep just in front of the rices fields and the mountains. I absolutely recommend this place to discover the toraja culture. Also i would recommand Marco as a guide to help you discover Toraja, he is a very nice person, commited to his work and he'll tell you everything you need to know about the toraja culture.

Definitely recommend ! James and Rian are very hospitality and caring, you will definitely feel like home. One of Must do list in Toraja will be catting with them, you can truly know new generation thoughts about their culture, quite inspiring ! And if you have any questions, they basically can give you resolutions and recommendations, so helpful ! BTW their English is high level, had good communication! Miss them already and their little cute son ❤️ The room is not luxury but very organic and clean !

I loved staying in a traditional Tongkonan house, it’s very cosy! Don’t expect a five star hotel, but it’s fun and great value for money. You can be picked up from the overnight bus if you arrive early and Aldi and his family will look after you during your stay and arrange a guide around the local area. I had Yuspan who is awesome. The guides know when the ceremonies are happening and will take you to all the sights. They will also take you to the shops, dinner etc if you don’t have transport. I think it’s easy to hire a moped if you want.
