Well, this hotel is a piece of art, its design is outstanding! We loved the look outside, we appreciated the entrance, we admired the small lobby and we enjoyed the room for dinner (and breakfast). A paradise for aesthetes. Really! And the best: Using the buffet is somehow for free. If you stay in the hotel, you can for example have dinner there - it's included. And the food is great, the breakfast delicious! And the rooms and the location are also very good. (We were so unhappy that we had to leave earlier because of typhoon Shanshan... and btw we are still waiting for a confirmation of the hotel that we had to leave earlier as foreseen for our insurance.)

Everything. From the moment we arrived in front of hotel, until the moment we left the hotel back to airport. Sublime service. The very polite lady from the bell desk even continue waived us good byes accros the street! That was really touched our hearts. We have been around the world staying in top luxury resorts and hotels, but we never encountered such personal attention and care to their guests! Simply amazing service culture! The mini getaway from city life. Many of its customers are local japanese people, not foreigners. No random chinese with kids making loud noises, running around, etc etc, where you really want to just tell them off that this is Japan, and have to be mindful about the surroundings. Hot spring water is fully modernise and equipped with proper sauna and icy cold water for you to experience the full proper cycle of onsen. And unlike many hot spring, this is quiet, stayed for 5 days 4 night, at no point in time I felt that it was overcrowded despite the fact that the facilities is shared with 358UMI guest. I can easily count the number of guest in the spring water bath area with 1 hand at any given point in time.
