Much better than expected. The view from our place was unbelievable. The breakfast was delicious, also the braile we can highly recommend. There was no wifi but we had an excellent network. If you need something, Solitaire is just 30 minutes by car The staff and owner are very friendly and helpful. If you like an special place without the comfort of a 4 star resort, here you go!

The location of this hotel is spectacular. It’s other worldly and breathtaking. We were captivated.

The infinity pool with a view into the Namib-Naukluft Park, the sunset game drive, the exceptional food, the superb service of everybody, including our repaired tire - we can only recommend this lodge! Amazing place ! An oasis in the desert ! A nice garden with two swimming pools, a lot of space for chilling, delicious buffet (thanks to Sorrata and her team)... The bedding is confortable. All the staff is friendly and efficient.

Namib Desert Campsite is situated in Solitaire. This campground features free private parking and a shared kitchen. Staff on-site can arrange a shuttle service. Some units have a fireplace.

Very beautiful campsite. It's about 5 km from the lodge and reception wich makes it even better. We were the only ones there. So there is nothing else but the beautiful nature and animals. A giraffe crossed the street when we drove from the reception to the campsite. And you can see the stars very good because there's no other light in the surrounding. Nice clean sanitair with hot shower.

Located south of Solitaire, Namib Naukluft Lodge is set on the private Nam Nau Habitat. Backed by granite hills, the lodge offers an outdoor pool. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and restaurant.
