A truly exceptional place. Shearers quarters from 1900 given modern update but without losing any of the character. Crisp linen on really comfortable beds in absolute quiet. The drive there along a gravel road give the best views of Mt Cook that you will see. Kitchen modern and stocked like home Lovely meeting Alana and hearing about life on the farm and bringing up a family.. Wonderful.. Not to be missed.

It was warmer inside than I expected and the bedding was cozy. The fact that Mountain Cook is right on your in front of doorstep is reason enough to stay here. Amazing!

close to hermitage hotel and shuttle bus is running between this hotel and hermitage hotel. The room is simple, but comfortable and the view from the room is great! The Staff is also helpful.
