Nothing, it was outstanding from check in to check out. The spa upstairs on the rooftop is fabulous. My suite was exceptionally clean and modern. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Ashley, at the front desk certainly made a impression with her warm demeanor, friendly smile and knowing and using my first name throughout my stay. Privately owned, this is a fabulous stay.

Nestled within Taronga Zoo and overlooking Sydney Harbour, Wildlife Retreat at Taronga is an eco-retreat offering stylish accommodation in a relaxed bush setting. Our stay was well beyond my expectations. Initially I was a little worried, as it was a little outside of my price range. I liked the idea that it was nonprofit and sustainable and I thought the proximity of the animals would be fun for my daughter. The staff was amazing...extremely helpful and kind and always went the extra mile to help us to feel welcome. This never happens, but the view was even better than what's listed on the site. We had a room facing the opera house and it was stunning...we also had an adorable koala outside our room constantly. Just like in the picture. Really. There were several extras that I hadn't anticipated...a morning and evening zoo walk and a tour of a little area made available only to guests. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell the zoo was working more as an animal sanctuary. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone. It's also extremely accessible, so my daughter and I were able to use it as a home base for exploring other parts of the city. We often came back with tons of sand between our toes and still had time to enjoy the view and the animals.

Set in Sydney, Quest North Sydney offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a fitness centre, a shared lounge and a garden. In a quiet residential area but also close to the metro station. Staff were very helpful.

Meriton Suites Coward Street, Mascot is a luxury hotel positioned only 10 minutes' drive from the domestic airport and 15 minutes' drive from the international airport. Wonderfully large suites, with roomy balcony. My room overlooked an inner courtyard, with lots of greenery. Right beside the airport, but zero aircraft noise between 22:30 and 06:00. Just 5 minutes walk from subway station, on very convenient downtown line. Full kitchen and laundry room, and huge living room.

This English-style inn is nestled in the countryside at the bottom of the stunning Razorback Mountains, directly overlooking breathtaking views of the Camden Valley. Love CVI it is so beautiful and comfortable. Loved our stay.
