If I want to get away from noisy everyday life, I would definitely come here! It is located in a wonderful environment, equipped with everything, a clean, spacious cottage, from the terrace of which I can watch the reindeer. I recommend it wholeheartedly 🥰, it is comfortably enough for up to 4 people.

We felt very welcome from the moment we walked into the main building. The owners were great hosts. We ate at the restaurant on site both nights and our meals were exceptional. The igloos surpassed our expectations. Elegant and cosy. We were lucky to see the northern lights laying in bed!

The location of this property was great. It was close enough to drive to all the places we planned but also felt like we were far enough away to have such a great winter vibe. the main road driving in had several igloo cabins which leds me to believe that its a good location to view auroras, unfortunately we went and had snow and clouds everyday so we did not have a chance to see an. The apartment was clean, had plenty of supplies on hand in the front cabin and tons of room for my family. The entry had plenty of racks, storage and a drying unit to help aid in the transition from outside to inside. our snow gear was always ready and warm for the next outing. The log cabin aesthetic inside and out added such a cozy yet elevated touch to our trip. it was warm, had a fully equipped fire place, and sauna. The tall ceilings in the living space made it feel bigger. they kids loved the loft and nook with window and like looking outside. The kitchen was stocked with all essentials and we loved that the apartment was decorated with a christmas tree during the holidays. Check in was at the local pub which I thought was different, but honestly it was perfect because we were able to grab the keys and some supplies from the local store nearby and head over right at check in.

Located on top of Kaunispää Fell, Star Arctic Hotel & Activities is situated in Saariselka in the Finnish Lapland Region. The location gives a beautiful view, magical sunrise, magical sunset, beautiful all white crystal snow, just soo soo beautiful.

Chaty Aurora Village Ivalo se nacházejí v obci Ivalo a nabízejí prosklenou střechu umožňující pozorování polární záře přímo z postele. The staff is absolutely fantastic. Every single one of them was kind and went out of their way to help me with whatever needed. Very smiling, supportive, one of them even learned some words in my language to greet me. The food was outstanding, as the ambience in the restaurant. Breakfast could have more variety, but the dinners were fantastic. The accommodations are clean, and the hotel is very sustainable-oriented. They offer a lot of different activities, such as free hikes in the hotel itself, saunas, and nature activities. I did the river paddle and it was a great experience, the guide too was excellent. I saw some beautiful auroras. Taxis in the region are expensive, there are no public transportation, so it’s worth to get the transfer that the hotel offers. Honestly, a great experience!

Set in Saariselkä, Northern Lights Village Saariselkä features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Free parking is available. Everything was perfect. While the room temperature in other hotels we stayed in in Lapland was fixed at 20 degrees, here we were able to adjust it as we wanted. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. When you enter the hotel, you can arrange all the activities with the help of the staff. Seeing the northern lights was amazing!!! It was very enjoyable and easy to walk from the bungalows to the restaurant, to the deers and the huskies.

Vily Karhunpesä se nacházejí ve vesnici Saariselka v Laponsku, 26 km od sídla Ivalo, a nabízejí vlastní saunu a neplacené soukromé parkoviště. We stayed in Villa Asta. As a couple it was extremely spacious and well equipped. We loved the sauna and the easy access to the back deck so we could do cheeky snow baths in between sauna sessions. The Villa is situated in a forest area away from town. While there are other cabins nearby it felt quite private and quiet. We didn’t have a car but we found it quite okay; It’s about 30 min walk into town to get groceries, which we didn’t mind because there are plowed, well lit and well signposted walking paths all the way into town through the beautiful forest. There is also a cafe (Laanilan Savottakahvila) about 10-15 min walk into the opposite direction, which again was easy to walk to. You can also catch the ski bus from this cafe. We found the Villa to be warm and cozy. And we loved the large windows that look out into the winter forest.
