The staff are very friendly, and Candy, who is as sweet as her name suggests, even picked us up when we struggled to find the house using the postcode. The location is perfect, just a short walk away from Crow Park, Hope Park, and Derwent Lake. Next time we visit Keswick, or if any of my family or friends do, we will definitely stay at Fellback again. The breakfasts were heavenly.

Lancaster Castle is 29 km away and Lancaster University is 38 km from the inn. Such a lovely cosy, comfortable and dog friendly place. The staff (Sean and Helen) were exceptionally kind and helpful. I was travelling with my brand new puppy and they made it so much easier for me. Can’t recommend this property enough and we will definitely be back.

The extensively-refurbished Bridge House Hotel is set in Grasmere, directly across from St Oswalds Church and the graveyard where William Wordsworth rests. The hotel sits in its own mature grounds, with beautiful views overlooking the River Rothay.

In beautiful Lakeland surroundings overlooking an idyllic brook, Glencree is situated between the villages of Bowness and Windermere. With free parking and free Wi-Fi, it serves hearty breakfasts cooked to order. Guests can swim in the property's off-site pool. The room was spacious and had a very good view of a small stream. The amenities were excellent. The bathroom fittings are exceptional and modern which are not a common sighting in Europe. The place is at walking distance from the railway station and the main market area. The host, Ian, is very friendly.
