We arrived in Pizzo on the last (or second-to-last) day of our trip through Calabria, so unfortunately we only stayed for one night. I say unfortunately because, first of all, Pizzo is a truly charming town and worth staying longer, and secondly because the hotel was genuinely excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our flight home wasn’t until late in the evening, but we were allowed to stay by the pool and in the garden the entire day without any issues. They also arranged transportation to the airport and even let us check out a bit later than usual—all of this despite only staying one night. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and very reasonably priced. They serve drinks and food throughout the day in their lovely garden. The location is close enough to both the town center and the beach. We truly felt welcome and comfortable here.

The accommodation was very clean, with housekeeping tidying the rooms every day. We had a ground-floor apartment facing the garden, so it was nicely shaded. The air conditioning was only in the hallway (kitchen), but it managed to cool both bedrooms—though it was necessary to keep the doors to both bedrooms open at night. The staff were very friendly and kind, and the bar had good prices. The pool was clean, with stunning views of the sea and, in the distance, the smoking volcano Stromboli. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the center of Tropea. You can also take a taxi or call an Uber. The nearby beaches were clean with excellent water quality. Breakfast was not included in our stay—we didn’t mind, as our children don’t eat much in the morning. For dinner, there was a pizzeria just behind the house, or restaurants in the center of Parghelia or Tropea. It’s a great location for many trips around the area, including excursions to Sicily and Mount Etna (by car). We would definitely like to return next year. We stayed in the apartment for a total of 9 nights. Many thanks to Aldo for the hospitality :)

AC GOLD B&B Boutique Rooms & Suite se nachází v ideální lokalitě v destinaci Reggio di Calabria a nabízí bar a bezplatné Wi-Fi. Very nice location close to the train station, and not far from the Lungomare. Very comfortable bed, and stylish and clean room, Host thought of many small touches, like splitters for the plugs. Although the apartment is shared, my room larger with private bath felt private. Air conditioning was strong, and a nice view over the park.

Great location! WiFi was great! Restaurants and gelato and pasticceria were close and amazing! Nice little walk over bridges! Easy to find. The bathroom was amazing and the little balcony added to the charm!

Leonardo Suites Scilla se nachází v destinaci Scilla. Lungomare se nachází 22 km daleko a Stadio Oreste Granillo 26 km. Newly renovated and very clean. The host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend staying here.
