Facing the central shopping street of the Kinosaki Onsen hot spring area, Morizuya offers authentic Japanese-style accommodation, hot spring baths and Japanese dining. Everything was excellent. The ryokan is well located very close to the public baths and has itself 2 private baths that you can use in private the afternoons. The personal went above and beyond to make our stay better, even with the language differences. They let us store our luggage before the check in time and took it to the train station the day of check out. They lent us some yukatas to stroll in the town and the owner proposed to take some pictures of us outside the ryokan which was a nice detail. The room we stayed, was a typical ryokan room with futon and everything, which complements the charm of the stay. The food was delicious and they even explained us how the items in the dinner were supposed to be enjoyed. Super authentic experience and totally recommended.

Akaishiya 城崎温泉旅館 赤石屋 se nachází v destinaci Kinosaki a poskytuje ubytování s koly zdarma, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm a zahradou. Kinumaki Shrine je 2,6 km daleko. Nadprůměrně bohatá snídaně, která pro průmětné evropany může znamenat oběd. Dostali jsme volný vstup do onsenů ve městě. Doporučuji, úžasný zážitek. Navíc nám bylo trpělivě vysvětleno jak fungují a zdarma poskytnut tradiční japonský oděv- Yukata.

Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Awaji Higashiura nabízí pokoje v destinaci Awaji. Jen 27 km odtud se nachází Most Akaši-Kaikjó a Kobe Wing Stadium je 33 km daleko. Spotless hotel . Beautiful views . The staff even wrote the time of the sunrise on the room key . The standard of furnishings in the room was very high . Views were amazing.

MAGATAMA.INN se nachází ve čtvrti Sumoto Onsen v destinaci Sumoto. Pláž Ohama Beach je 800 metrů odtud. Everything is perfect. Location is car-friendly. The room is cozy. The kitchen has all essential amenities.

古民家ゲストハウス CHACHACHA AWAJI se nachází v destinaci Awaji a nabízí ubytování s zahradou, neplaceným soukromým parkovištěm, sdíleným loungem a terasou. Most Akaši-Kaikjó je 42 km daleko. Staff was really friendly and accommodating. Dinner was a plate of different local produce, simple but very tasty, easily the best meal we had on the island.

Fairfield by Marriott Hyogo Kannabe Highland se nachází v destinaci Toyooka. Toyooka City History Museum je 11 km daleko a Ito Kiyonaga Museum 24 km. Within 2-3 mins drive to UP Kannabe ski resort. Right opposite the hotel is a nice onsen, minimart, and bakery. Large common space on the first floor with pantry, large dining table and many sofa seats. You can heat up your cood, make instant noodle, have meals, with free coffee and tea.

Imagine a Tera Machi of 8 temples in your back, a solid wall protecting the front side and a river to cross. This all in an old but nevertheless very comfortable original house. You do not have to miss any comfort to still get the experience of living in older times. The house contains museum items so every day there is something to inspect or admire. No, you do not have to tiptoe through the big rooms, you have ample space to move. The modern built old bathtub is a comfortable and funny experience. The kitchen has all necessary modern amenities in a style that suits the property. In all details a successful attempt to perfection. Besides all this, Ikuno is a charming little town, with surprising good views at every bend of the river, where life seems to go at an easy pace. There are nice places to eat and there is a big enough supermarket with a good variety of fresh foods.

Dot Glamping 赤穂 se nachází ve čtvrti Ako Onsen v destinaci Ako. Pláž Karafuneyama Beach je 2,5 km odtud a Hachimangu Shrine 37 km. From the second we arrived till we left the parking lot we felt nothing but overly welcome. The place is absolutely amazing. The staff even more so. We chose the accommodation for the clamping, we knew nothing about the town or area. Also this was a very pleasant surprise. It felt like we were the only tourists in the city and everyone, without exception, made us feel welcome. Dot Glamping in Ako might be the best surprise on our fantastic trip to Japan. The tent is huge, and although there is so much to see outside of the premises, it is well worth it not leaving, just enjoying the place. The private area is great too. We stayed two nights, and as we didn't have a car, we chose to include dinner in our order - do that, it is well worth it. The first night we got yakiniku which we grilled in the main building, the second night we got seafood which we grilled in our private area next to the tent, overlooking the ocean and sunsent. It is difficult to describe the welcome and feeling of staying at Dot Glamping in Ako, maybe the amazing staff just made it so much more, but I would travel to this place again. I can only recommend it. Nature is so close and is so beautiful in Ako!
