We spent 4 days and we would definitely like to come back to On the Mekong Resort. Henry, the owner, is a fantastic host. His staff is also very kind and well prepared. We really felt at home. The property is located right on the bank of the Mekong river, providing a fantastic location for watching the sunset. We loved the abundant breakfast, the pool and the easy going mood.

The Jam Boutique Hotel is a lovely little property in Luang Prabang that offers a truly luxurious experience at a budget-friendly price. We stayed in one of the sleek villas by the lotus pond, with a private outdoor bathtub in the lush yard. Waking up to the sights and sounds of nature every morning was such a treat. It was also the perfect spot to relax after our daily excursions in Luang Prabang. Its proximity to the night market and local restaurants makes it an excellent base for exploring the city. The staff are incredibly kind and always happy to help. We really enjoyed the free bicycles available to explore the streets of Luang Prabang. We also rented a scooter from the property for a ride to the waterfall, which was a fantastic experience. The property itself is incredibly beautiful, with a very relaxing pool that's open untill 11pm, making it perfect for a late night swim. It is beautifully appointed, has well-maintained rooms and serves up a wholesome, hearty breakfast that set us up perfectly for the day. Moreover, it’s an incredibly peaceful and quiet spot — soaking in the clear, crisp Luang Prabang air, with its clean, unpolluted atmosphere and bright blue skies, makes it even more special.

You can literally jump into the pool from your room, take a swim and get out to be back in your room again (We didn't do it because it was December, but definitely do it if your are in Laos during the hotter months). The rooms are spacious and perfect for couples. The staff is warm, polite and always there to attend to your requests. We loved the regular supply of delicious mangoes in the breakfast everyday! I have stayed in many high-end hotels with generic breakfast, but the breakfast here tasted better, even if the breakfast spread is not huge. I found an adorable cat sitting outside our room in the balcony. The cat didn't want to leave us, and neither did we, but cat lovers can expect a pleasant surprise, though not everyday. The location is just the right distance from the center of Luan Prabang, which can be quite crowded over the weekends. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a great option.

Loved the place! So peaceful and close to the nature and horses. The whole staff was super friendly and wonderful. Stayed in the yurt and the bed was so comfortable. Stayed one night and went horseback riding the next morning. Had such a great time here and wishing to be back soon.

Staff were lovely and friendly, let us check in early with no fuss. Even gave us a drink and snack on arrival. Room was much nicer than we normally go for, and amazing value for money! Spacious, clean, huge COMFORTABLE beds, nice balcony, excellent breakfast (with lots of choices), easy walking distance to all the sights, staff will arrange any trips if you ask them. The monks pass by every morning collecting alms at about 05.45/06.00, should you wish to catch this spectacle. Small family restaurant (Pa Lai Restaurant) at the end of the lane was also amazing. Highly recommended 😁

Jen 900 metrů odtud se nachází That Chomsi a Wat Mai Suwannapumaram je 700 metrů daleko. i stay only 1 night. but very good for me. because i just walk 3-4 minutes to the center night market and a few meters to the mekong river. my room terrace also see the river.

I really enjoyed my stay at Phailin Hotel and would like to extend special thanks to Ms. Giang, the hotel receptionist, for her exceptional hospitality. Ms. Giang, also the owner, was very friendly and took excellent care of us. She helped us book train tickets and arranged a spacious and comfortable room. The male receptionist was also kind and very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center. Right in front of the property, there is a small food stall offering Thai, Lao, and Chinese cuisine, and a grocery store is located just next door. The hotel also provides services such as motorbike and van rentals, as well as day tours. The night market is only a 5-minute motorbike ride away, making it a great base for exploring the area. If you’re traveling on a budget, I highly recommend this hotel for its value, location, and warm hospitality.
