Thank you, Per, for a pleasant stay! The host gave us all the information that we needed, from how to get to the house to what to do in Tromsø and how to catch the NL! Luckily enough, the house is so well located that we saw the NL right in the backyard! Right in front of the house, there is a supermarket. You literally just have to cross the road, and you are there. The bus station is next to the house, we couldn't ask for more! Awesome place, awesome host! Good for short or long stays, for sure. Maravillosa estancia. Muy limpio. Alquilamos el jacuzzi y sauna. Todo muy bien. El dueño nos aconsejo de hacer rutas por los alrededores.

New Magnificent view apartment Near the centre está en Tromsø, a 14 min a pie de The Fram Centre, a 1,1 km de The University Museum of Tromsø y a 14 min a pie de Polaria. Muy cómodo, limpio y bien situado. Las vistas muy bonitas. Nuestro anfitrión fue muy amable y nos dio instrucciones muy precisas con mucho tiempo de antelación. Estaba muy bien equipado.

El lugar es lindisimo y el departamento tiene cada detalle pensado. Me hubiese gustado quedarme más días aquí, un lujo!

We avoided the sky high restaurant prices, bought some salmon and veg from the supermarket and cooked it on the grill, so tasty. Dante (the beautiful snow cat) was good fun too! He loves white socks.

Strandbu Camping se encuentra en Skibotn, a 47 km de Sabetjohk, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, un jardín con terraza y acceso a la sauna. We cannot recommend this cabin enough- it’s in the most idyllic setting by a river. It is excellently equipped with- we cooked a full roast dinner for New Year’s Day. It’s cosy and warm. We stayed in polar winter and saw the aurora every night - even from the decking. We built campfires with the kids with cheap wood bought from the owner and had them in one of their fire pits. We went on excursions to see reindeer, go snow shoe walking (self hired with maps at Skibotn hotel) , went on a snowmobile trip and a dog sled trip. All these trips happen in Skibotn valley - many people travel daily from Tromsø here to do these activities - staying here meant we could spend more time enjoying ourselves rather than travelling Absolutely 5 star experience which I would recommend
