This property is beautiful. The room are very well decorated and very large. Incredible view of the mountains! The owner and staff are absolutely amazing people! They are so attentive. My flight got canceled and wanted to stay near the airport. We also ran out of money because we were suppose to go back home and there are no ATM nearby. I explained the situation to them and said we would take the public bus back to the airport and they said they would take us back to the airport. They even walked us to the restaurant so we wouldn’t walk alone at night. Breakfast was also amazing. ii can’t describe in words how incredible everyone was to us and how clean and big the rooms are. I highly recommend staying here if you need to be near the airport or want to explore the area.

Our balcony private double room was a good size, nice views over town, warm comfortable bed and good hot shower with pressure. Ricky is a terrific host, smiling, happy and wanting to ensure you have the best experience possible. He helped with taxis and tours and was always willing to chat or help with anything. This isn’t 5 star- it is authentic, local guy making a lovely hostel for guests to enjoy.

They were very accommodating with our last minute booking request and made sure we found the place and were fed. The room was clean and cozy (exactly as advertised!). Ricky is hands down the best host I’ve ever had. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel welcome and at home. The facilities are excellent—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The shower had reliably hot water (a big plus!), and both breakfast and dinner were delicious and satisfying every day. You can feel the care and love Ricky puts into everything he does. His two friendly dogs and super cuddly cat made the place feel even more like home. I can’t recommend staying here enough—thank you for everything, Ricky!

Luz and the team made the stay perfect for us. Being a large group flying in from different countries at different times, they were very accommodating to our needs. We felt very well taken care of - we will definitely be back there.

The rooms are really spacious and the roof terrace is a very peaceful place to relax in the warm afternoon sun. The beds were incredibly comfortable and perhaps the most comfortable pillows we've experienced in 7 months in South America! The house is very welcoming, and the people that work here are lovely; kind, caring, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were accommodated. The rooftop laundry area is a great addition, and being able to hand-wash our merino and delicates was a great bonus! Wifi was stable and fast, and we loved being able to relax with a movie on Netflix at the end of a long day walk. They very kindly and securely looked after our luggage while we were away on the Santa Cruz trek, and were very helpful with tips and a map of places of interest. They helped us book an early morning taxi to Laguna 69, and even came out with us to make sure we found it! Really nice spot, and genuinely welcoming people!
