A 200 meter stroll via the beach takes you to the village with a great restaurant (Métis), supermarket and a relaxed vibe. The owners give you all the privacy you, but are also helpful for instance lending their kayak or snorkeling mask. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with nice airco in the sleeping room and a nice outdoor kitchen and seating area overlooking the blue lagoon.

I spent almost a month there and I had such a great time. Natalie and Papi are amazing, warm-hearted hosts and so is the atmosphere at the hostel. The cultural activities are fire! Facilities are simple but it is always clean and there is everything you need. Haapu is a lovely little village and a great place for starting your expeditions on the most beautiful island Huahine.

The location right at the water front and close to the waves of the lagoon's edge was simply magical. I could just spend hours sitting on the sand, taking in the ocean's beauty and sounds, and the amazing views of the surrouding mountains and coast - not mentioning the exceptionally cleary night skies. The property is made so that you directly live with the ocean, both from the room and the dining/living area, including a cute seashell and flower decoration in the rooms. Very calm except for the waves (lovely lulaby) and the ocean breeze makes it nicely refreshing (compared to elsewhere), and it is easy to be in your own private space outside. The location on the island is nicely clsoe (8 km) to the main town with shops, restaurants, gas stations, banks, harbor, aiport, etc. while still convenient to explore the south side of Huahine. The owner Flora is feisty and incredibly sweet and generous, ans she is a star when it comes to caring for her guests, doing what she can to help and make their stay special. Scooter or car rental across the street. Overall my 5-night stay there were very resourceful and I was pleasantly surprised.

We had a great stay with Vaiana and her Family. The room was very clean and also had a private bathroom. The shared kitchen was well equipped and all in all the location was great, close to the harbour and supermarket. Vaiana made us feel right at home, their dog loved to get some cuddles. We would recommend it 100%!

We had a wonderful stay at Montrose Place. The home was absolutely lovely—comfortable, welcoming, and well set up for a relaxing holiday. The food we purchased from them was delicious and a real highlight of our stay. We also really enjoyed the snorkelling at the nearby beach, and there was a whale and its calf that came right in front of the property, which made the location even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Huahine!
