It’s very new, is in a stunning location that may be the best in Luye. The rooms are huge, the styling is lovely, and it’s like a full service apartment with everything you could possibly want. We were on the top floor, and the view from our room was serene and beautiful. The other thing that I loved is that the bed was huge, and after 1 month in Taiwan it was the only Guesthouse we’ve stayed in where the bed was long enough for my feet to not hang off the end the end of the bed (my height is 6 ft 2 in).

It's located in a somehow remote area which is peaceful and quiet. The location is amazingly beautiful, in the middle of the rice fields. The room was clean. Bed was comfortable (to European standards). AC worked well and quiet. We could use the bicycles for free. Breakfast was nice with a beautiful view.

We stayed in DF life lodge during our family reunion trip with three generations across countries to see hot air balloon in Taitung. The lodge is new, clean and well-decorated. The breakfast is delicious and healthy. The location is close to 鹿野高台, very convenient for hot air balloon viewing. One thing to note, we forgot something in the hotel after check-out. The host notified us right away and helped us to send the stuff back without charges. The service is excellent. Highly recommended and we will definitely go back if we ever go to the area again!

The hosts were beyond amazing—extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They went above and beyond to make my stay perfect. They were so accommodating and ensured I could check in early without any issues. When I contacted them upon arrival, they came over right away to make sure everything was smooth—such thoughtful and caring service! They made sure I was comfortable, provided great recommendations, and always checked in to ensure I was having the best experience. They were so social and engaging, always starting conversations and creating meaningful connections that made the stay feel truly special. The space itself was fantastic. My room was spacious and super comfortable, and the entire place had such a cozy, homey vibe. The common area and patio were beautifully set up, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Plus, there’s an incredible tea house just across the street that’s definitely worth checking out—such a gem! Everything about my stay felt thoughtful, warm, and personal. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—highly recommend!
