Nestled in the centre of historic Stowe, Vermont, this hotel features a sauna, massage therapy services and afternoon tea. Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory is 14.1 km away. The GMI is an authentic Vermont Inn. Right in the middle of town and a shuttle ride to the mountain in winter. The food in the "Whip" Restaurant is excellent. We ate there both nights of our stay. Pool, gym and hot tubs are clean and the grounds are immaculate.

Viking Villages is an absolutely amazing place. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is exceptional. Our lodge was fantastic, very comfortable, well equipped kitchen, immaculately clean. Beds are super comfortable. The styling and decor is second to none. The owner showed us around the grounds and the Viking hall, another stunning piece of architecture. They have sheep - the lambs were super cute - and they make their own maple syrup from their own trees. This is a serene place in the woods, relaxing, quiet, and you can hear nature around you. TV, Wifi and Netflix available if you want to use that. I cooked but you can take a short drive to nearby towns for food. They have a directory in the lodges to tell you all about the area and give food recommendations. The Village looks amazing at night too with all the ambient lighting. We stepped outside to a very atmospheric full moon, starry skies and sounds of nature in the trees. Best night's sleep and best shower on our whole trip! Customer service is fabulous, the owner is more than happy to chat and tell you about the village and area. If we are ever in the US on vacation again, we will be back!

I loved everything about the Brass Lantern Inn. The staff were so welcoming and the location is gorgeous. There are lots of places to just sit and stare at the beautiful landscape - inside, outside or from the hot tub. The Inn is located close enough to Stowe town to be near the action, but far enough out that you avoid the traffic congestion. The breakfast was amazing and the surprise afternoon snack was always super tasty. The bed was insanely comfortable and I also loved loved loved the white noise machine. I would stay here again without hesitation.

The cottages were located right next to the woods, with a lot of stores and cute shops nearby. The cottage was very clean and quiet, with veeery comfy beds, the perfect getaway from the busy city. The owners are lovely people, they were very helpful and friendly. If we are ever in Vermont again, we´ll definitely be staying at Serenity Motel!

From my phone conversation prior to my arrival all the way up until check out everything was top notch the staff, the amenities, my breakfast, and all of the little details that were put into the nutmeg!!!!
