Very helpful to organise busses and tours and anything you could possibly need. The balcony is beautiful, lovely view of fields. Lake, mountains and lots of birds singing in the background.

Had a wonderful time here. The personal boat trip on the lake was amazing and the area seemed to be largely undiscovered after the absolute chaos of the Ha Giang Loop. The food was delicious and beer cheap and plentiful. The lady of the house was lovely - kind and welcoming.

This homestay is run by a fantastic family who made us feel very welcome and comfortable. To make it even better, it is in a fantastic location. When we arrived, the bridge was out, and they came to meet us and helped us with our luggage, which was greatly appreciated. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The balcony had excellent views of the rice fields, mountains, jungle, and lake.. There is a communal area upstairs, and the view from there is even better. In the evenings the family cook fresh food which we ate on a table with other guests. The food was delicious, and it was a great way to meet other travellers and hear about their adventures and experiences in Vietnam and beyond. The homestay also offers breakfast. The homestay owns their own boat and kayak. We went on the 5-hour boat tour, which was lovely, and enjoyed kayaking out to the island. It is also possible to go fishing with the owner if there isn't a boat tour on the same day. We enjoyed a 10 mile hike through the jungle, which we booked through the homestay, one of the best walks we have done in Vietnam, but you must have some experience of trekking. We enjoyed waking straight out from the homestay along the road, which went around the lake. Two miles from the homestay, you'll find another village, and I enjoyed some pho here on two occasions. This is a great place to stay in ba be lake Rooms are very clean, spacious, airy and comfortable, high ceiling, king sized beds, with lots of space. Best aircon i had in vietnam, probably because of the room large space. The rooms are right by the water, so from the boat you go straight into the room. The owner can pick you up from the jetty too, if needed. Also a boat tour and kayak cam be arranged. Two houses away there is a good restaurant. Ownrs are helpfull and welcomming . Overall recommended stay!
