Loved the location and the view, facing the Quay Son River, with a wide baywalk that gets merry in the evenings. It is amidst many excellent eating places. We loved the banh cuon at the back for a very early breakfast (open at 530AM), Mixue and Banxue for drinks and ice cream, and Banh Mi Thu Thang, recommended by the owner, which was so good that we ate there twice. We are very grateful to the owner for opening the guesthouse for us very early in the morning, as our bus from Hanoi arrived at 430AM. He also pre-booked for us a private car for a day tour at a very reasonable rate, with a very capable, knowledgeable and caring driver. We were so impressed with him that we booked him again for another day tour on our second day. In so doing we were able to save on our travel expenses, which turned out significantly lower compared to booking a package tour. The property owner also booked for us our overnight bus back to Hanoi, at a cheaper rate compared to purchasing online, and which unloaded at the bus station closer to Hanoi than My Dinh. He also took care of our taxi going to the bus station. Our room looked exactly like the photos, even better, and the view from the 4th floor was nice, especially in the early morning. Our beds were huge and very comfy.

The room was super comfy, very clean, and the self-check-in was smooth and just made sense, no hassle at all. The location is in a good area, and for the price (much cheaper than what we found on booking websites). Communication was super fast and easy through WhatsApp, which made everything so convenient. They also offer a bunch of handy services like laundry and transportation. We asked if they could arrange a limousine van for two people to Hanoi, with pickup from the homestay, and they organized everything quickly. We specifically wanted to pay in cash instead of booking online, and they made that possible without any issue. All in all, a very comfortable and well-organized place to stay. We'd definitely recommend!

The free water is also a nice addition! The family was so helpful with directions and advice on where to go. Thank you for everything!

We trusted the comments and they were right : it was an amazing stay, the host family was warm and welcoming. Tuy gave us really good advice according to what we told her we liked to do. She also arranged bookings of cars for us, in order for it to be less expensive and easier ! The place is amazingly clean (the cleanest we've seen since the beginning of our trip). The mattresses are comfortable (though a bit hard but that's the norm in Vietnam). The room can be quite cold in the winter but the covers are really warm, we were not cold during our sleep even though the winter is especially hard this year ! It was really one of the best moments of our trip, due to the kindness of the host and her good knowledge of the area. The goodbyes were moving, if we ever come back to Vietnam we wouldn't hesitate passing by this charming place to see this lovely family again !

Homestay se nachází trosku dale od centra ale jelikož jsme si od pana pujcovali motorku tak nám ji nabídl ihned. Druhý den jsme si tedy vzali motorku a vydali se na Cao Bang loop, motocykl byl ve výborném stavu. Dostali jsme take pláštěnky a pytel na batoh. Zbytek věcí jsme si bez problémů mohli nechat v ubytování. Když jsme se druhý den vrátili pan nám nabídl použít sprchu a toaletu coz bylo po celém dnu opravdu osvěžující. Když jsme se chtěli vydat na autobusovou zastávku začalo silně pršet.. Pan nám nabídl ze nás tam jeho kamarád odveze zadarmo coz bylo úžasné milé. Nemám absolutně co vytknout. Za peníze dostanete mnohem více než očekáváte. Ještě jednou děkujeme

Extended my stay 3x. The woman who runs the place was so sweet, complimentary, warm. Helped me with whatever I needed, despite the language barrier. She was patient, no issue using Google Translate. I was here for New Year’s Eve and she even had a little gift for me!
