The hosts were an absolutely lovely couple and despite is being delayed in our arrival they were very accommodating and friendly staying up to greet us, hand over the keys and explain everything. In the morning the host even got out of bed to uncover the pool so that I may take a morning swim. It was only a quick overnight stay but was pleasant.

Amazing location - close to the rainbow river. Waking up to a beautiful Dawn chorus from the birds and no sounds of humanity. Kayaking on the river and seeing azure kingfishers and night herons as well as pelican, magpies, lorikeets and lots of the little birds. Meeting the camel family! Incredibly comfy beds. Welcome pack was very generous - lots of eggs and baca on, delicious real coffee, bread, butter and loads of cereals. Oh and lovely toiletries too. Bernie and his lovely wife had were so kind and helpful. And the dogs were lovely. In fact we thought the place was amazing - thank you. 🙏🏼

Arrival and Check-in Despite arriving quite late at around 9 PM, the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff had left clear instructions for late arrivals, which was very thoughtful and made me feel welcomed right away. Accommodation The lodge itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The attention to detail in the decor created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The room was spacious, with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of travel. Facilities The lodge boasts excellent facilities. The fully equipped kitchen allowed for easy meal preparation, and the living area was perfect for relaxing. I also appreciated the complimentary Wi-Fi, which was reliable and fast, making it easy to stay connected. Surroundings The location is stunning, nestled in the serene environment of Waratah Bay. Waking up to the tranquil surroundings and the sound of nature was truly refreshing. Although I only stayed for one night, I could see how this place would be perfect for longer stays, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Overall Experience Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the Prom Coast Holiday Lodge. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and beautiful surroundings made for an unforgettable experience. We had a great stay here in wonderful Kilcunda. The house is very bright and spacious and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need! The beds are extremely comfy and we slept like babies. You have a wonderful view over the fields with cows and horses from the patio and it’s only 2 minutes walking to the beach with incredible views.
