The location and setting of the Kookuburra Cottage was superb as we overlooked the pond and could watch all the birds - amazing view. Nice and handy to Maleny which was worth a visit in itself. Our hosts supplied us with a marvellous hamper which basically fed us for the two days we were there. The cottage was very spacious and well appointed. We literally wanted for nothing. Our accommodation far exceeded our expectation.

Nicole had the fire going when we arrived which made it nice and warm.Bed was big and very comfortable.Had everything supplied for a good hearty breakfast plus a hot bread delivered to the doorstep when required.Definitely will be back for a longer time.

Location is stunning - views across the golf course to the rainforest and fun foraging for tomatoes and avocados. The host was delightful and generous and responded quickly to questions or issues. The cabin was perfect for us and the small dog loved the freedom and space to run around. Having an enclosed balcony kept her comfortably safe too.

We really appreciated the tour around the garden and learning all about the rare Cycads. I definitely recommend looking through Peter's book at some time during your stay. The fruit salad was the tasiest I've ever had. Great location for visiting the Sunshine Coast. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be back when I'm up that way again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay and could easily imagine to stay a bit longer. The location is great and very calm. Listening to the birds in the morning during breakfast or also in the evening is very relaxing. Russ is a great host and the facilities in the apartment are great.
