The location was excellent. The hosteria is on a hillside, offering a beautiful mountain view across the town and the valley. At the same time the location is also central, only 10 minutes by foot from the main square and 12 minutes from the bus station (Terminal Terrestre). Our room was clean and comfortable, with two queen beds with four(!) soft pillows. The bathroom had hot water for showering. Normally the room is cleaned every day (they ask if you wish that they do). The breakfast was very good. It consisted of eggs, bread rolls, butter and marmalade with juice and coffee - which is what you normally get for breakfast in Ecuador. But the juice was different every day, the croissants were served warm (not every day, though) and the eggs were prepared in a different way. This is actually a big deal if you've been traveling for a long time. We had established a contact with the hosteria in WhatsApp before arrival and received all possible information regarding our stay in advance. Someone was around and available 24/7, opening the gate and supporting the clients with information about activities etc. We had our laundry done for a very small amount of money that was less than in public laundries. We did not speak Spanish, so were happy to find that the staff spoke varying levels of English. You get a great value for the money you pay.

Montano Camping & Hostel está en Baños y tiene jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. What can I say? 11/10 score. The kindness of Miriam (and Luchito and Caballito) is unparalleled. I booked one night and staid for almost one month (!). Canelazo by the fireplace, empanadas, pizzas, homemade bread, cakes, bones for my dog Mango (!) and Italian coffee are just a few of the things that Miriam offered for free during my stay. My room was clean and comfortable, there’s parking for a few motorbikes or a camper van, the shared kitchen has all you need, the garden (with view of Tungurahua volcano!) is beautiful and was a great place for Mango to play :). Thank you for a wonderful time in Baños 🙏🏻

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Comfortable and cozy rooms, with everything you can possibly need (bathroom with continuous hot water, lockers, reading light, two AC plugs, curtains for privacy, etc). Two well-equipped big kitchens, where you can serve yourself drinkable water, coffee or hot chocolate for free 24 hours and cook your own meals.

La Hostería Finca Chamanapamba goza de una ubicación rural magnífica, a solo 4 km del centro de la ciudad de Baños y cuenta con hermosas cascadas. Excelente la ambientación, un lugar muy tranquilo donde se puede apreciar la naturaleza al máximo. Muy buena la atención del personal y el desayuno.

Luis is the best host! Super kind and very helpful. The hotel is in a great location. I stayed in one of the suites and the suites are beautiful, large and have all the amenities you could ask for. Favorite place i have stayed in Ecuador. I will return.

La Casa del Molino Blanco B&B se encuentra en Baños y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis y zona de estar. Las unidades incluyen una cocina totalmente equipada con nevera, horno, cafetera y hervidor. Wonderful peaceful property. The owners are really nice and make a good breakfast. Have lots of information on local activities and set me up with a great mountain guide for Tungurahua and Chimbo. The walk to the property is very easy, a little uphill.
