The place was very clean, and the garden is beautiful and relaxing, especially in the evening. The only thing to keep in mind is that since the Elephantine island is not connected by bridges, if you need to check out at night you should arrange the boat transfer in advance.

Watching the serene beauty of the Nile from our balcony was an experience we will cherish forever. The staff at Dolly Kato went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. Their hospitality was unmatched, and they were always ready to assist us. When we needed to leave early for a trip to Abu Simbel, they thoughtfully prepared a breakfast box for us. The range of activities they offer, such as the boat ride and the drive to Abu Simbel, were not only reasonably priced but also of high quality. One of the highlights of our stay was the Nubian party with live music hosted by the property. The lively atmosphere and the enchanting music made the evening an unforgettable experience.

I live a balcony and my room had that, i could open my balcony and see allt of the village. It was a quick walk to the ferry station and stores. Upon arrival Tamer send is a cab to gather all our belongings and bring us to the guest house. My children and his children played for hours. They didn’t want to leave. Daily we had breakfast and dinner at the guest house and it was delicious. We had a hard time finding a cheap ride home, Tamer was able to arrange a ride for us at a rate we could afford. If your looking for a safe space single or family, this is an awesome guest house to stay at. The picture below is the view as you approach the island.

Beautiful house on Elefantine Island. Everything brand new and of good quality. Host Abu picked us up on arrival, organised a free sunset tour (just tip the guide at the end). We also booked transportation to Abu Simbel and Luxor at a very reasonable price through Abu, in very comfortable cars. We were able to use the washing machine for free, there is an equipped kitchen to use. Food is very tasty. Beautiful rooftop restaurant.

Everyone working at the hotel was so lovely, polite and helpful. They have excelled in hospitality. They made us feel like we were home. The property itself and the surroundings were quaint and picturesque. The food served was soo delicious. I have travelled to nearly 60 countries and this place was one of the highlights of my travels. We left Artika Wadi Kiki with our hearts full with hopes to visit again and I cannot wait.

Air conditioning is much appreciated during hot seasons in Egypt. The host is very kind and can arrange tours for you. The room has a beautiful view of the Nile river and the city. There is a nice terrace on top to sit and enjoy the view. Breakfasts were included and they were nice and abundant local meals.

The rooms have all the basic necessities and is very clean. The staffs were very nice and the food was great! Kafana helped us arrange a private transport to Abu Simbel at a reasonable price, gave complimentary rides to their motor boat and even checked in on us to make sure we made it safely to our destination. Great hospitality at great value!
