The family-run Ambleside Townhouse is situated in Ambleside, 800 metres from Lake Windermere. It offers en suite rooms and a full English breakfast in the morning. Location, our room was comfortable, shower wonderful. Great breakfast and staff friendly. We’ve been here before and will return again

A 5-minute drive from Bassenthwaite Lake, Ravenstone Manor is an 19th-century manor house set in 3 hectares of ground. The property is at the foot of Skiddaw, overlooking Bassenthwaite Lake. Really cosy, amazing food and excellent staff, we loved it !

Right in the middle of town, was a great base. The whole House presented excellent very new and fresh. A large residence with plenty of room. We stayed as a family of five , but I could see it bringing comfortable for more people. The touches of family friendly games were adored by my children. A full size Washing Maxhine with a separate dryer is a great addition. Combo washer/dryers are ok but seem to take a lot longer. We had an issue with transport and ended up arriving quite late. Which I am now disappointed I did not get the full experience. NOTE: We arrived almost 7 hours after our scheduled check in. The host was exceptional in accommodating our late arrival. I cannot praise Gillian enough.

Ambleside Fell Rooms se nachází v destinaci Ambleside. World of Beatrix Potter se nachází 8,9 km daleko a Jezero Windermere 16 km. Fantastic central location to Ambleside. Lots of local walks on the doorstep. The room was stunning, would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Tethera, Amma Barn se nachází v destinaci Shap. World of Beatrix Potter se nachází 36 km daleko, Derwentwater 45 km a Whinfell Forest 15 km. Tethera was absolutely FABULOUS. The facilities were A1, a great setting, a gorgeous fully contained renovated barn. Great for anyone wanting a romantic time away. The township of Shap is an amazing historical place and worth exploring. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your gorgeous barn.
