The food was delicious and had enough variety to keep variety of palattes happy. The choice of experience available for guests are what you expect however had some unique "estate walk' with a resident ecologist is really makes the experience memorable. While all the staff we encountered were friendly, courteous and helpful, we would like to single out few of them: Lakrani was very courteous, efficient and friendly. She would be easily hired for customer facing work anywhere in the world. Infectious enthusiasm was impressive. Lithin was very knowledgable, friendly and willing to share his knowledge about the property, eco system and his passion readily. Ranjit Kumar Pradhan was extremely friendly, obliging and creative in preparing food of exceptional quality and taste. Wish we stayed more nights to taste his delicacy.

The location is perfect, quiet and not too crowded, yet still close to the city center. I stayed both in a single room and in the dormitory, and liked them equally. Both were spacious, very clean, and comfortable, just like the hostel overall. A special thanks to Viru, his wife, and their family. They are wonderfully warm and kind people, always ready to help with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. On several occasions they even cooked for me and offered me tea, which made me feel truly at home. I would definitely stay here again.
