Taaj Residence is a very good hotel with a homely atmosphere and polite and educated hosts. The homemade food was absolutely delicious, and the Karak tea was fantastic — truly a treat! The place was super clean. I highly recommend staying here. A special mention to Mamoo Shabeer, our taxi driver — a well-known personality on social media! Everywhere we went, people recognized him, which made our experience even more enjoyable. It felt great to be with someone so respected and famous!

I had a wonderful experience at Ringchan Guest House in Skardu. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to get around. The highlight of my stay was the incredible hospitality from the manager, Naqeeb. He was super helpful and friendly, even arranging a taxi for me when I needed it. The room was clean, hot water was always and free Wifi available, and the breakfast was fresh and satisfying. Naqeeb really made me feel at home. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Skardu!

The hotel has a very unique interior and the big garden has great views over the mountains. Rooms were very clean and it was nice to have an airconditioner. Thanks to the staff for making this an awesome stay.

The property is within an easy walk to the coffee shops, restaurants and gem stone dealers of Karimabad. Best of all are the people. The staff is warm, friendly and accommodating. Meals are reasonably priced and delicious. And the owner, Liaqat, is happy to help organize sightseeing to Atrabad Lake, Passu Cones, etc.

"I had an incredible stay at Hounza Lounge! The room with a balcony offered breathtaking views of Rakaposhi and Diran Mountain – waking up to that scenery was a dream. The room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, making it feel like a true retreat. The staff were amazing, especially Amir, who was thoughtful and seemed to anticipate all my needs. I initially booked for one night but ended up staying for a month because of the peaceful atmosphere and exceptional hospitality. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk from Karimabad Bazaar. A special thank to the owner, Noushad, who went above and beyond to help me organize my trips, guide, taxidriver and make sure I had everything I needed. This is by far the most peaceful place in Karimabad, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!"

The best part was the villa’s location — close enough to explore famous spots like Shangrila Resort, Upper Kachura Lake, and Shigar Fort, yet secluded enough to feel like your own private hideaway in the mountains. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a couple seeking quiet, or a group chasing northern adventure, Creek Villa offers something special: a slice of Skardu that feels like home.

The host had been super nice and responsive at all times. He showed me beautiful sights and hiking trails in the area and helped me to plan my travels as well. I also liked the calm atmosphere while being located in the heart of the town. Electricity issues, which are common in the area, are managed well. I would stay again.
