Hotel Bären Titisee features large rooms, an indoor pool, and a traditional restaurant serving local specialities. It is located 860 metres above sea level, just 400 metres from the Titisee Lake. The staff was very friendly and professional. The Saturday dinner was incredible. The breakfast buffet is also very good. We had a good time at the hotel bar in the evening. The location is great, just a 7min walk to the lake or the Badeparadies. Would definitely recommend the place for a weekend getaway.

Tento hotel ve venkovském stylu se nachází v Grafenhausenu a je pohodlnou základnou pro prohlídku malebných vrcholů Horního Schwarzwaldu, jako je jezero Schlüchtsee a soutěska Wutach. Great sauna facilities and natural pool. Nice guests, good breakfast and dinner was yummy. I can’t wait to go back. The rooms were all booked, popular place especially this time of the year.

This historic, 4-star hotel is situated directly beside Lake Titisee in the Black Forest. It offers a private beach, a modern spa with a heated outdoor panoramic pool. Great hotel! We stayed here for 3 nights in a Superior Double Room with Lake View and Balcony for about 1275 euros and we were extremely pleased. The hotel is very central, and the building is beautiful and charming. It’s one of the main buildings in Titisee and it’s very well kept, and the gardens are also beautiful. We pleased to note that parking was easy. They give clear instructions on how to find the parking lot and there are plenty of parking spots, and wide enough. You can also come and go as you want (we left our car parked the whole time, though). The staff is super friendly and between our beginner-level German and some members of the staff who spoke English, there were zero communication problems. Our room was wonderful. Lots of space, nice big wardrobe with many real hangers and clean and spacious bathroom. The view was wonderful and definitely worth it, and the balcony was also nice. The pillows that were there when we arrived were very thin and soft, but after we requested firmer ones, we had 4 wonderful pillows in total. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well. We also had dinner one night at the hotel, and although the prices are a bit steep, the quality is there and the staff, once again, was top notch. We also loved, loved, loved all the flowers at the hotel, especially all the lovely anthuriums at the restaurant and some common areas. The direct access to the lake was what we were mainly looking for and we were not disappointed. Also, the indoor and outdoor swimming pools are wonderful (and the water is not cold! the lake water can be freezing). You can also have a light meal and freshly squeezed fruit juices by the pool, which we really enjoyed. Overall, we had a great time and we are definitely coming back. Highly recommended!
