When we checked in the manager in charge gave us an upgrade to the best room with terrace and we got even invited to join a buffet dinner. We stayed 4 days and beside enjoying swimming in the lake we were exploring the area with our private car (Golan heights, Banias, Mt Hermon).

Wow! What a lovely stay my wife and had at Anna’s property. We were touring from Tel Aviv and Haifa and then going towards Jerusalem; we wanted to experience beautiful northern Israel on the way. Anna was so warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure we were looked after. There are 2 studio apartments only, so it’s nice and quiet (other than excitable local dogs!) in this gated hilltop village location overlooking The Sea of Galilee in the distance which was beautiful. The apartment has everything you need and a large and EXTREMELY comfortable bed and pillows with good support. We slept like babies!!! The highlight after such a great night’s sleep was the optional homemade breakfast which Anna brought up to us on a tray to eat on the balcony. Buki and his son were very helpful and attentive to our needs. Cabins were nice, grounds well kept. Enoyed the hamock and pool. Would certainly return!

This was hands down the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. The hosts are so kind and helpful, and they had thought of every detail to make the stay amazing. The room and garden are so beautiful, and everything is clean and super high quality. They had just finished the pool in the garden that we didn't even know about, this was such a great way to cool down and enjoy the garden during the day. And the outdoor shower has the best view in the world. Ma'ale Gamla itself is lovely, the local shop and coffee place have amazing food, and people were so friendly and helpful.
