Houseboat Zaindari Palace is in a very good location quiet part of Dal Lake with a mountain view. The rooms are spacious and the washrooms are super clean. Management is also very helpful. The breakfast and dinner are tasty The staff are friendly, and give honest advice about tour/bus/travel itineraries and costs. I would definitely recommend this place:)

Great hotel with all the key amenities you need. Good breakfast spread focussed on vegetarian delicacies from across India. Great hospitality, along with gentle smiles, bringing in warmth and generosity in everything they did. Very spacious rooms, extra large beds, and great air-conditioning in rooms ( something we needed to ensure we adjusted to the heatwave).

The houseboat was beautiful and spacious. Mr. Shahid, the owner was around and he personally showed us around. He booked us a reliable cab for site seeing. The houseboat itself has all the basic necessities that one may need for the stay. The breakfast and meals were simple but delicious and were served hot and with a lot of love. Mr Zahir, the caretaker was brilliant, and was always prompt with anything we asked. The location is brilliant for local site seeing.
