Wild Scape Polonnaruwa was a fantastic stay. Located close to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa in a beautiful forest setting, the location couldn't be better for exploring the area's history and nature. The swimming pool was well maintained and offered a refreshing spot to relax. Room facilities met all my expectations, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Service was outstanding, with Mr. Kumara, the manager, going above and beyond to make my short visit memorable. Highly recommend for a serene and welcoming experience.

A wonderful place - spotlessly clean, beautifully landscaped with lovely plants. Spacious, comfortable room - plenty of hot water for showers, good wifi and a wide terrace. Chairs and loungers around the pool and in the garden, which also has hammocks. Lounge area in the dining room looks out into the gardens - all very peaceful. The food was classic Sri Lankan - breakfast was huge and very tasty, the rice and curry was excellent - 12+ delicious small veg dishes with rice and poppadoms to accompany the curry, or there were alternative dishes along with desserts and fresh juices. Staff were really lovely, helpful and good to talk to. Some way out of town, but such a nice place we didn't want to move, and when we needed it was easy to get TukTuk to the archaeological sites, train station etc.

Undoubtedly one of the best places in Sri Lanka. We have been attended to at all times with the highest level of excellence. We saw elephants from our room, attended local dances where our daughter could participate, were taken fishing on the lake, and enjoyed some wonderful days. This hotel is A MUST near many of the cultural sites in the center where you can stay for several days. We will return.

I had wonderful time hear for 3 days, regret I did not book longer, but had to move on. It is a hotel with 13 rooms, but it feels more like a homestay! Everyone , from the owner and his family to the staff were so friendly and helpful beyond expectations. Amazing hospitality. A place you want to go back to. Everyone seems to enjoy their work. The pools are great, taking great care of . Very clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay an help with renting bikes and bus transport. Hope to see you again😊

Best Location for visiting the ancient city. Extremly friendly and helpful staff,the extraordinary boss fullfills you every Special Wish.He bought for us a fresh Lake fish and the cook made it delicious! From all Transports and National Park he organised local people who know where to Go(we saw about 50 wild elephants).Amazing stay,we could be much longer under these conditions.
