Such a beautiful location! Right above a restaurant that is super delicious and on the water. We watched the sunset over the lake from our balcony. We were attending a wedding in Brienz and needed a suit ironed. The staff were super nice and ironed the suit free of charge. They really went above and beyond, 10/10 would recommend.

All was good and one of the best pizza I had with a cold beer. location was very near to the pier and it’s a very nice location to walk around.

We spent two nights at Alpinhotel Bort in late May and had an amazing stay. The room was huge, spotless, and packed with great amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming—even surprising our eldest son with a lovely birthday message, which made the stay extra special. Despite our late arrival, they accommodated us without any issue. The hotel is situated in a stunning location with easy access to the First Peak, offering breathtaking views, and we had a blast on the nearby Trottibikes. The on-site restaurant was excellent, though on the pricier side. A bonus for EV drivers: they have electric car chargers available.

Hotel Strandhotel is set in the beautiful holiday village of Iseltwald, only 10 minutes by car from Interlaken, and enjoys an unique location right at the lake next to the boat pier.

The Views from the Hotel Strand were magnificant. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with a cute little balcony to enjoy the lake views. The room was better then the pictures. Cozy with complimentary tea and coffee. The beds are firm like most of Europe which is what we like. The morning buffet was delicious with large variety. The staff was so kind and helpful. From here we explore Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Giessbach water fall. Definitely will be back to explore and hike in this area of Switzerland again. We were here beginning of May when all the spring wild flowers are in bloom.
