Like many reviewers of Hotel Posta, the Breakfast is good which is important when skiing. On offer in winter is a buffet comprising 3 different cereals, plus porridge, fruit, a number of different breads, natural yoghurt, nutella and other spreads, honey, boiled eggs, cheeses, hams, prosciutto, salami, coffee, tea orange juice, apple juice, water. A good range, continuously replenished. In addition the hotel has an excellent restaurant which serves high quality evening meals including vegetarian options. Complimenting this are Cheese board, deserts and a very broad wine list including good local wine and also local beer (meaning real ale/ craft beer). Our room was sizeable with comfortable beds, a good size bathroom and powerful shower. It was also diligently cleaned every day. Last but not least were the staff. They made the real difference. They were genuinely helpful, kind and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay because we were looked after and made to feel very welcome. We were quite sad to leave. Further important information that may help you... The ski fields are dispersed, you can ski between most subject to snow and weather conditions. However the road between Andermatt and Dieni is closed in Winter. It's best to use the train. Train tickets for 5 days or longer are available from the Dieni ski lift station. Its about 1 mile from the hotel (easy walk/drive). The tickets enable travel between Andermatt and Disentis and all the stops in-between which allows you to travel between ski fields easily if the connecting lifts are not working or your feeling tired. The nearest train station to the hotel is called Reuras, its a 10 minute walk uphill from the hotel and is served regularly. If you have an epic pass then you can get an unlimited pass covering Andermatt, Sedrun, Disentis ski fields. You can get this at Dieni ski lift station. Switzerland uses a different 3 pin plug from most of Europe. You will need an adapter.

I spent two unforgettable days at Hotel Mira in Sedrun, and I can’t recommend it enough – especially for hikers and motorcyclists. The hotel is impeccably maintained and perfectly clean throughout. My room was cozy, calm, and pristine – just what you need after a long day on the road or in the mountains. The breakfast deserves a special mention: generous, varied, and absolutely delicious – there’s something for everyone, whether you prefer sweet, savory, or something light. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. And with a Coop supermarket just steps away, everything you might need is close at hand. Whether you’re hiking the scenic trails or riding through Switzerland’s most iconic mountain routes, Hotel Mira is the perfect place to rest, recharge, and feel truly welcomed. I will gladly return – this place is a rare gem.

We loved everything about our stay! We had room 33 on the top floor it was newly done and soooo cozy! The beds were amazing! Only the ventilation in the bathroom was annoying as it turned on almost immediately and was really loud... The breakfast was so good - Jackie did some scrambled eggs that were even better than the ones my husband does at home ;) The coffee for breakfast was a real one (not milk- and coffee-powder). Thank you, guys!

Very friendly, helpful and lovely staff, which made us feel right at home. Superb breakfast. Great amenities, especially after a long ski day (sauna, bar...). The hotel has its own restaurant, which serves delicious food (we stayed there for dinner pretty much everyday for an entire week!). Very charming decor. Well located and well connected. Definitely recommend!

Everything!! From the excellent views and location in the middle of the countryside, the comfortable rooms, to the arrival welcoming with a drink and showing around the property, the dinner which is delicious and great value and the amazing owner/hosts! Would definitely return in future!

Fantastic accommodation. Great room, comfy beds, great bedding. The kitchen was really good, wonderfully equipped, and spacious. Parking was good, as was security. Wonderful views with some cracking extra touches, like access to washing machine and tumble dryer.
