Booking the right hotel has always been part of our travel itinerary. Schloss, Zermatt is definitely a must try. It is located just across the main train station, 3mins away from the gornegratt railway, 10mins away from sunnega blauherd station. The main road where everything is from shops, to restaurants, and grocery is just a couple of minutes away. The facilities are amazing with a heated pool, a spa, a big balcony, and a working fridge. Breakfast choices are more than enough and are real good. Plus all room booking include afternoon tea. The staff are lovely and courteous. This hotel is worth every penny.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the location is convenient and close to the train station, and the free shuttle to the hotel was a big plus. The spa and the breakfast were excellent as well, and the view of the mountains was absolutely stunning.

Everything was great. Good location near train station. Staff at both front reception and restaurant were attentive and provided good information about Zermatt. The room and amenities are good. The double glass door and windows keep the room quiet even near to train station. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Zermatt/ Taesch.

Perfect! Just got back our month long honeymoon and this was our favourite hotel we stayed in. We were in the Matterhorn Junior Suite and it was just gorgeous, so comfortable and cosy but spacious. Nice view of the Matterhorn. A bit obstructed by the building in front BUT that didn’t really take away from the view, just made the room feel more private. Room service food was excellent, included breakfast was great and service overall was fantastic. Couldn’t fault the location, central to pretty much everything. Room was a bit warm the first night but we were advised to open a window which we did, no issues after that. Great for the environment! Booked massages and used the spa a few times, so relaxing and everything you need at all times is provided including refreshments, extra towels, etc. Will 100% be staying here again if we come back.

Extremely welcoming, first you get a welcome drink on the beautiful sun terrace looking directly at the Matterhorn. Then you get a tour of the hotel. All the staff were so friendly. We booked the sky light room, so no outside view or balcony but it was still outstanding. There's so much outside space to sit and view the mountains so we didn't feel it was necessary. The spa..... no words other than wow! We booked this place to relax after a week trekking and it was perfect.

Room is very nice and good view unfortunately for me is when i stay not a good weather so I cannot get a good view. But if it clear I'm sure. Staff very nice to helpful us to go anywhere. Breakfast is very good very nice. If you choose some hotel at zermatt. This hotel is your choice. When I checkout staff tell me can leave luggage there. When I finish matterhorn and go down to station. I can call them and they will bring my luggage to station.

The firont receptionstaff were excellent - Phillipous and Christina stands out. The rooms are reasonable size and our room faced Matterhorn which was a pleasant surprise . It’s literally 2 minutes from the station. Breakfast was good. Bruno in restaurants was very nice.

Nice decoration! The window in the house has a great view of the town. The layout of the room is also quite interesting. The staff were helpful, sending me to the train station, help me collect my luggage to the room. Plus there’s welcome dessert when I arrived!

Zermatt was a very lovely walkable village.

Zermatt was a very lovely walkable village. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip up to Mt Gorenat and the Glacier Paradise. Both trips are amazing and should be taken. Then wander the village and enjoy the buildings and the views.

We only had 1 day in Zermatt for hiking but we were recommended to look in Tasch for a place to stay for the night as it was a more economical choice than Zermatt. We found an excellent hotel, right across from the train station that exceeded our expectations. It was a perfect place to stay after a full day of hiking in Zermatt. We weren't able to explore Tasch too much, so would love to go back!

Very nice aan idyllic place if you like to relax and hike. Great place to roam around and visit other places from there. Zermatt was a bit disappointing, but it was also off season. Nice for an afternoon, but beter to stay in Randa.

Our experience of Blatten was amazing!

Our experience of Blatten was amazing! We were blown out by this little gem! We went up the cable car, had some drinks, came down and some more by the restaurant across the street. From our cabin we walked down to a restaurant and had a food experience of a lifetime!

Zermatt is a very pretty Swiss town with plenty to see & do...

Zermatt is a very pretty Swiss town with plenty to see & do and if your lucky to get the clear blue sky's like we did the views are stunning. We allowed 4 nights to give us the best chance of seeing the mighty Matterhorn and were not disappointed. From Zermatt you have the option of taking the Glacier Express to St Moritz.

There was everything you needed, bakery shops for snacks. Beautiful restaurants. Bars. High end shopping. Buts its the scenery you go for and it was amazing. Transport available for hard of walking. Plenty of walks and mountains to climb x

The prices are much more reasonable than in Zermatt, and it is practically the last village you can reach by car. So in my opinion it is very good to sleep in Täsch and travel by train to Zermatt. The trains are every 20 minutes.
