Hotel staff was very nice, room clean and with a small kitchenette. Temperature in the room was perfect for sleeping bed was comfortable. Areas of the hotel are under video surveillance. The hotel accommodated an early checkin and earlier breakfast which was very good for our early flight.

We stayed for 9 nights. The experience was truly wonderful. A lovely hotel with attentive and professional staff. A great location and with good security. Felt very safe in this hotel. The room was a nice size with wonderful mahogany, I think, solid wooden fixtures. A walk in shower but I would have preferred a shower to include a handset and a flexible hose. The room can get cold at night as no heating but I did see a member of staff transporting some portable electric radiators. We especially looked forward to the breakfast in the restaurant with the lovely staff many of whom worked in the same venue which serves as an Italian restaurant from around midday, I think. There is also a gym, sauna, massage and hairdresser on site. The staff in the hotel all wear smart uniforms and this adds to the feel that we were in a special hotel. When we approached the staff we found that nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Good location for when you wanna see the more older part of the city, lots of options for tours that start almost right down the street. And your quite close to the mountain side of the city if you are planning to go up to like Monterrey Church. Bed was even for me as a quite tall person good to do and comfy. Staff was very friendly and helpfull and spoke both English and Spanish, so no worries about not being able to ask for something. Breakfast was simple but still with plenty of options to choose from. Hotel is basically one straight road down from the airport, small downside is that you are a bit close to some main roads. So depending on where the room is you can hear some traffic in the evening.

We enjoyed breakfast, I noticed some people were dissapointed in previous reviews but it has everything, and coffee refills too. The rooms are spacious, the 15th floor although facing the junction was quiet enough on weekend. Bed and linen super confortable, lots of pillows as you'd expect. I liked the feel of an old traditional hotel, with not so modern furniture, charming, something rare in Europe at this price. I would return, staff and security guards super nice.

Location was optimal, walking distance to La Candaleria and central parts of the city. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. I know the area of Chapinero, where I stayed, quite well and always feel safe. I like the temperate climate of Bogota, ie. cool at night and warm during the day, but never too hot nor too cold. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go, including into the historical center. However, I did not come here as a mesmerized tourist, I just came to hang out for a while.

Heavy traffic, and air pollution made all the commuting in the city a nightmare. However, the museums that we visited (Museo del Oro/Golden museum and Botero Museum) were excellent. We also visited the Chingaza Park that is in a hill over the town, and where we could see beautiful species of birds.
