Beautiful hotel with nice interiors and perfect sea view. If you're staying in it, I defenitely recommend a room with the sea view - it's mesmerizing! Very friendly and helpful ladies at the reception and in Spa, and staff in the restaurant. Diverse and delicious breakfast, with pancakes and omelettes made right in front of you. Absolutely enjoyed staying at this hotel. Special thanks for organizing a little present and surprise for my husband's birthday!

We went for our friends birthday and the staff were amazing and so helpful. The waitress anthia (I think that's her name) she was fantastic, funny and catered to everyone's needs. The rooms were warm and had everything you needed. The reception staff were also very helpful and friendly. I would definitely visit again but id stay another day to enjoy the surroundings. Troodos is only a 10 minute drive away and I would highly recommend visiting the little market square and also the lovely bars in the village.

We stayed at the hotel for a full week and enjoyed every moment! The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, and the staff is exceptional – friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The pool is large, quiet, clean, and very pleasant, with a dedicated adults-only area that includes a bar – perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. The direct access to the nearby beach adds great convenience to the vacation. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant on site, serving high-quality food with great service. Despite a small issue we had in the room, we would like to give special praise to George, the hotel manager, who personally handled the matter with kindness and professionalism. He resolved the problem quickly and attentively, showing an outstanding level of customer service – truly a role model in hospitality. We highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return again!

The service level was incredible. With a very lovely welcome they even parked our car and washed it The room was excellent . One of the best we've ever been to All the staff was above and beyond . The hotel is big but they make you feel like a family. The lady at the reception even gave us her personal number when we went out with the car, just in case we will get lost . All the staff at the dining rooms, cleaners, maintenance people were incredibly nice and helpful. This is really one of a kind hotel We are really looking forward to coming again

the whole stay was great. all started from the beginning. i have reserved two rooms, one standart-another side sea view. at the reception we were informed what our rooms were changed to sea view without any extra pay. the location is great, food very tasty, rooms and all hotel very clean. personal fantastic, all of them smiling all the time and want to help in all situations. special thanks for Nicos and Tryfonas who made our holiday fantastic. One of the best hotel where i have ever stayed.

Paphos itself is about 2-3 day experience (in december, as sunbathing isnt much of an option). Car is essensial to see things in and around Paphos. In december the city was nice and quiet, not too crowded. Perfect for walks, museums (although some places were closed for the season).

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside...

I liked other beaches better than the one directly outside my hotel but visiting the other beaches was phenomenal - despite the weather. It was off-season and very quiet as it was December. It was nice to go and we enjoyed it but we were using the holiday to assess this area of Cyprus for relocation so we weren't in true holiday mode. The weather was absolutely atrocious with a storm and driving rain (4-14 Dec 2025) and quite cold so it curtailed some of our visits to view things. We popped across to Paphos for 3 days and the sun came out - albeit a minor earthquake happened - and we enjoyed it more to be honest. There were more things to see and do. I suspect we only enjoyed it more because the weather was warmer. Visiting off-season you'll find many things are closed as they are built around tourists for the most part. There was still enough restaurants to visit to have a choice though, so that was good. Overall it is a beautiful area - more so in the summer when things are open - and that fact would have been more obvious if we'd have had the weather to explore as well. I walked around in my trainers and each time I got back to the hotel I had to use the hairdryer to dry them out! This is unusual though. I liked beaches close to the Turkish border

Friendly people, lots of shops and restaurants. We did a lot of walking around which was great. Pharmacies do close early throughout the week so if you need anything you need to get it before 4-5 PM max (we have walked around 7Km one weekend to find an open one as even though they showed open on Google maps they were closed). There is another passport check except the one in the airport when you enter the city due to the fact that it is the Turkish part of Cyprus. Tasty food, big portions, cheap prices.

We travelled in November which is out of season and therefore it was very quiet with the majority of the bars and restaurants on the main strip being closed. We were closer to Kapparis where ample bars and restaurants remained open. We had no complaints.

Since there was a problem with the electricity when we arrived, we had the opportunity to try both the small house and apartment type accommodations. You can have more privacy with a house, as it has an own kitchen, but the rooms are much smaller and the wifi signal was very weak, practically none. The apartment was much more spacious, but if you want to cook, you need to use a shared kitchen. There was even netflix in the apartment that was missing in the house and unlike in the house, the wifi worked properly. You need to have whatsapp on your mobile, as you get check in info by whatsapp. They have a phone number and they were responsive, could communicate in English.

Kakopetria is a beautiful destination that combines natural beauty, historical charm, and a sense of tranquility. The surrounding nature is remarkable, with hiking trails like Varkotis and Chromium offering unique paths through green forests and along rivers. The peace provided by the environment makes hiking an invigorating experience. Additionally, the calming sound of the river that flows through the area, like the one you can hear in the backyard of Maritsa Lodge, offers a unique sense of inner peace, almost like the natural white noise of the outdoors. In the village center, the traditional architecture remains intact, with taverns like Podji Poda serving excellent local cuisine, and small cafés welcoming you for a relaxing drink and dessert in the main square. Landmarks such as the chapels of Saint Nicholas and Saint George provide opportunities for pilgrimage, while Marina's Rope Park offers activities for the more adventurous visitors. There are many small streets to stroll around.

There are many small streets to stroll around. My favourite architectural details were the many arches, hidden courtyards and the various antique door knockers. You need at least 2 days to unwind and explore. We ate at House 1923 for dinner, and also return for iced coffee. Nice atmosphere ina restore historic hotel. We also took a short drive to Lefkara dam at sunset- if you want o hear th sound of silence, you can find it there.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages.

One of the most beautiful Cypriot villages. Well organized beyond to what meets the eye. Everybody can see the stunning village, especially at night. But only true nature lovers and adventures will fully enjoy the magic of the area. There are tons of well maintained hiking trails to explore on foot or bike. Dozens of hidden gems to discover and plenty of great restaurants in the village and surrounding area to enjoy!

Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days.

Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis can be used as the base for exploring the area and particularly Akamas peninsula. Highly recommended to 1st time visitors to the island!
