Great staff, great (Austrian-like) atmosphere, great beds, great shower. Very clean! 2 spots for charging an electric car (we paid €35 to charge our almost empty car). Really nice restaurant as well with an awesome streak & jummy shrimp (& Alte Birne schnapps)! Breskfast buffet was very complete & fresh. Too bad I didn’t get around to using the sauna and no time to explore the area.

Breakfast was wonderful. Nice room and great variety. Rooms were very comfortable. Also had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel which was lovely. There is an amazing ice cream shop down the street.

This is a beautiful hotel with a comfortable living area, in addition to the very comfortable bed. The location is an easy walk to town. We really enjoyed dinner the first night, when they had the small Christkindlemarkt outside - even the staff seemed to be having fun. Dinner the second night was not as good - there were not as many food selections and really it was very similar to what they had at breakfast. The staff is very helpful and accommodating.

The Hotel 4 Winden is a really lovely family hotel / guest house in the village of Windhagen. The quality of the rooms and fittings is absolutely top class. Beautifully clean and comfortable with lovely little features in the room. The bed was extremely comfortable. Frau Höfer was extremely helpful via telephone and email in giving me directions for accessing my room key, as I arrived on the May Day public holiday. I enjoyed a lovely German breakfast, of fruit, yoghurt, wonderful German bread rolls, meats and cheese, topped off with freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Extremely convenient for my business meeting at Wirtgen Group, just up the road. I highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed the breakfast and the dinners at the restaurant. The wellness and spa facilities are very nice, as well as the golf course belonging to the hotel. We liked the surrounding countryside for hiking. In the entrance area of the hotel there is a large space for common use with a billiard table and a large TV screen that we used watching sport events. And there is a lovely Café next door to the hotel.

Nice and clean hotel with very friendly hotel. They have 2 loading stations for electrical cars, but both of them were occupied. However, on the front side there were 2 more loading stations from a different provider. Unfortunately these loading stations were new for me, but the receptionist was so kind te help me to sort this out.

A central location close to a major highway ideally located...

A central location close to a major highway ideally located for trips to the westerwald region, many hiking paths, cycling routes and such in the area that are in generally well marked. For those more into shopping the nearby outlet shopping offers a wide range of products at "outlet" pricing including a dedicated Haribo candy store. The town of montabaur has plenty of supermarkets, bakeries (not all open on sunday though) and restaurants (try the wallhala burgers, they're awesome)

Awesome area to visit.

Awesome area to visit. Many places to visit and the Landhotel was absolutely the best. Great service, great employees and easy for us to visit with others who were staying there. Bad Marienberg is a great place to start other adventures to surround areas. Beautiful countryside and walking trails.

Daaden is a quite and small village close to Bitzdorf and...

Daaden is a quite and small village close to Bitzdorf and Seigen. It has good number of retail outlets, which are cheap for your pocket. Public transportation is an issue though, as the village is not on the main trainline (nearest main train station is Bitzdorf 11 km away; average 28 euros by taxi. The village is surrounded by forests and lakes. During the heatwave, temperature there was 35 degrees centigrade, when it was 42 in other cities in the region, hence it is cooler.

Everything you need, groceries stores and small cosy town centres with restaurants, a large outlet shopping mall and an excellent region for hiking! Easily accessible via highway and a short trip away from Koblenz or a little longer drive to Frankfurt. Can really recommend Walhalla Burgers if you like specialty/Home made Hamburgers

Despite being a highway hotel, the hotel was very quiet, so...

Despite being a highway hotel, the hotel was very quiet, so we got a good night's rest. The room was very clean and spacious. The beds were good and there were enough towels. If you are travelling longer distances, I would definitely recommend the hotel for a stopover.
