This is a lovely property in a fantastic location. The welcome drink, the complimentary mini bar the first night, the pillow menu....so many small touches that add up to a wonderful stay. I'd requested a room with twin beds and when they didn't have one available we were given an additional room free of charge. Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. My only regret is we only stayed one night. We will definitely be back.

A firm favourite with sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. The enchanting capital Palma has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbour, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport transfers. North of the island is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana whose mountain lakes are absolutely beautiful. A trip to its highest peak – Puig Major – offers wonderful views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts are Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighbouring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters. I read the reviews before and was a little concerned but I have to stay, we got back last night and had the most amazing holiday. I went with my mum and 3 year old daughter. We stayed in the Serena 2 block and had a lovely clean huge room which was cleaned every other day. It was in a great location to everything on site and with the beach a short walk away. We arrived early hours in the morning and the check in staff were great, gave us a map and directed us to our building, the complex is huge. The entertainment staff are amazing and the kids disco and shows are great too! I was a little concerned about the food, we were All Inclusive and I have to say it was actually very nice, we ate in all the restaurants (Asian, Italian and Mexican) as well as the buffet and all very nice and what you expect from an All Inclusive. Didn’t have any complaints here. The pool snack bars are great for the kids food serving Burgers, hot dogs, onion rings, chips etc and the ice cream also very tasty! The splash parks, slides and parks are great for the kids, loads to choose from. The fun fair was also great for the kids too and reasonably priced. All in all we had a very lovely holiday here at the Bellevue and made some great memories.

The hotel was the peek of our 4 days vacay. Delicious breakfast (eggs in all forms, fruit, smoothies, sweet bar, mimosas) with very attending staff. The room was spotless, nice side view from a balcony, cleaned every day. You can chill by the pool, sunbathe or swim. The location is perfect depending on what you’re looking for - it does get very busy and noisy, it’s simply a party area but with plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, clubs and also near a bus stop leading to Palma centre (bus 25) or airport (A2), both about 20 minutes travel. I would recommend renting a car though and travel around the island which is way more beautiful than Palma itself. Overall, we can absolutely recommend this hotel.

From the moment we walked into this Resort & Spa we were made very welcome. The staff are very helpful and friendly always with a smile. The breakfast buffet was excellent and we had a different breakfast every day on our 8 day stay. Our room was superb. Very comfortable clean and spacious. Room 101 and all the maids were very nice and always happy with a Buenos Dias every morning. The Spa was a wonderful time for us. Very relaxing and we enjoyed it so much we used it twice on our stay. Location was perfect and the views were wonderful. Will definitely return in the future.

Everything was great! The hotel has its own parking area, and no reservation was needed. The parking cost is €6 per day, which was reasonable for us as we have paid much more for parking elsewhere. Our room had a big terrace with a great view of the pool. The sea was only a 3-5 minute walk away, and there were plenty of shops and restaurants around. The city center was just an 8-minute drive. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. A very pleasant stay!

We had an amazing experience at Garonda. The hotel is situated in a calm area, just in front of the beach. The rooms are big and very clean, with the most confortable and huge bed we have ever seen. We stayed there for our honeymoon and we had a very nice surprise in our room from the hotel. The staff is always there to help. The hotel also collaborates with a rent a car company with very good prices and good cars.

Lovely historical city, if you enjoy architecture and history and cafe culture it is a must. The restaurants and dining and cafes are excellent in the area, there are many historical places and museums to visit. There are excellent boutique hotels of which Sant Jaume is one of.

Playa de Palma offers calm, shallow waters—perfect for children to play safely. In September, the weather is still warm and sunny, but the beach is pleasantly uncrowded. A peaceful spot to relax and enjoy the sea with the whole family!

The beach is excellent and clean. Many restaurants to choose from, good for children as wall Very close to airport, the air traffic is not a problem. Easy to use bus to Palma and the airport. Easy to visit the aquarium

We just stayed at El Arenal for one night.

We just stayed at El Arenal for one night. We enjoyed lazing around - we walked on the beach, sat in a cafe and looked at the souvenir shops. It was very pleasant. Had a burger in a cafe opposite. If we had longer we could have spent some time in the centre of Palma. The bus service seems good and it's not far. It was a good place to stay before flying from the airport early in the morning.

This was my 10th visit to Palma Nova... it is a lovely place to holiday. Its lovely and flat with well kept beaches and promenade. Plenty of shops and nice places to eat. I would strongly reccomend Paradise beach bar.

Cala Millor long sandy beach is beautiful, clean and perfect for relaxing or taking a walk by the sea. The promenade has a great mix of cafes and restaurants, shops , giving the area a lively but still relaxed atmosphere. The water is clear and calm , making it ideal for swimming. Overall Cala Millor is a lovely place to unwind , enjoy the sun and take in the Mediterranean vibe.

The entire area is well suited for hiking - both for shorter and longer distances. It is easy and fun to get lost - and then to discover new hidden gems. Actually, the best suggestion I would have is to put Sóller in the midst of a circle with a 10 km radius. There are extremely many things to find. Everything from hiking trails to hidden monasteries, quaint cities and information about a rich and eventful history. Of course, the best is to find people to sit down and talk with. I have found some places that I very much would have liked to visit again. To start with; Muleta vde Ca S'Hereu. If you have the chance, drop by for a visit. These are some of the nicests and sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. A somewhat surprising recommendation perhaps; drop by Hostal Residència Nadal for a good and healthy breakfast for 7 euro in a quiet back garden. Very relaxing before a busy day. For a longer walk I suggest paying Hotel Hoposa Costa d’Or a visit, have a good dinner and enjoy all the scandinavian litterature that is placed there. After this, head for Alconasser - and if you are still up for it, take one of the trails over to Port de Sóller. Just to mention a few potential routes. Of course, there are many other places worth visiting as well - for instance to walk up to Fornalutx and head up towards some of the trails that are crisscrossing the upward parts of the hills. Of course, it will probably pay off to not visit during the warmest parts of the years. I stayed there for a few days in October, and that was just perfect!

We didn’t realise before we booked that Santa Ponsa is popular with groups of boys and girls on party holidays. It’s such a short trip to Magaluf that they seem to stay in Santa Ponsa and get a cab into Magaluf. Because of this a lot of bars are very busy and geared towards groups of young lads/girls. We didn’t find it a major issue however one to bear in mind for a family holiday.

The marina has a great selection of bars and restaurants It is quite hilly so worth noting as taxis may be required for some (ok on the way down to the marina) Safe and great for families, couples or groups No neon signs, sports bars, plastic furniture or menus with pictures of food
