I liked everything about this unique small hotel. My entrance was greeted warmly and sincerely and no time was wasted showing us to our rooms and the friendly member of staff explained the facilities and dining aspects. Comfort was very good and the food was excellent in quality and taste. Bed was comfy. Sleep was very good with no noises at all. As this hotel is over 300 years old it was in excellent condition and furnished authentically.

This place is amazing, especially if you're an Outlander fan! We did not expect it to be in such a quite and peaceful location. The outlander room was spotlessly clean and staff were very helpful. The interiors of the room made the experience even more exciting! Breakfast was perfect and everything overall everything was great! Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Falkland and to any Outlander fan visiting Scotland.

We loved our 1 night stay in the Golf Hotel. We had a comfy twin bed with good bathroom facilties that met our needs. The full veggie breakfast in the morning was absolutely incredible and such a relaxed vibe from staff. Perfect location if, like us, you are attending a wedding at the Cow Shed in Crail (15 min walk!).

Dunfermline Abbey - resting place of Robert the Bruce is well worth a visit. So is the Carnegie museum - birthplace of Andrew Carnegie, once the world's richest man, and a champion of philanthropy and world peace. Pittencrieff park is lovely for a walk on a misty morning. It's a lovely place to stay.

Room very comfortable and facilities of high standard. The staff were extremely helpful. View of bridge made our stay but traffic noise was constant and may be a problem for light sleepers. The bedroom was far too bright at night. Light under desk and also by the door(probably fire escape regulations and not hotels fault).

Leven is on the train line now, about an hour from Edinburgh. It's a bit of a one-horse town with only 1 restaurant open after 8pm, apart from a 60s style steak-house. If you're vegetarian, vegan, or lactose intolerant you're going to have problems eating in the evening.
