Location is beauthiful if you have a car. The property is also beautiful, like a mini chateau. Walking around is a relaxing and peaceful experience. The room was very nice and clean. I appreciated glass water bottles in our room. Breakfast was ok. We'll surely return if travelling to North Wales in future.

The setting of this place is absolutely stunning, very peaceful despite there being lots of people there. The woodland escape suite was perfect, everything you needed, situated very close the main building and restaurant. The staff could not do enough and were lovely. Overall a fantastic stay and we shall be back

A Gorgeous homely yet modern property with the most welcoming of staff made for a truly enjoyable experience. My home-from-home for a week was comfortable, great value has great food and drink choices at very reasonable prices and the location was perfect for me. I stumbled across the establishment purely as they have Tesla EV chargers on site, and I was not disappointed by anything else the place has to offer! I’m now looking to find any excuse to visit again! Many Thanks to the entire team at Gwesty Links

Clean and friendly sea side holiday location. Excellent transport links if you use public transport. Lots to do for both families and solo travellers, especially if you like watching wildlife. Scenery is outstanding, and nearby areas are full of nature interest and local history. Prices reasonable.

Beautiful historical walled town, with everything in a condensed area, in walkable distance. Still uncommercialised and quite untouched, which makes it exceptional. Transport to other areas by train is in walking distance, hop on, hop off bus comes from Llandudno, and is a great way to see a bit more. Great places to eat drink and visit - Liverpool Arms, Albion Arms - 2 great pubs, The Mulberry and Alfredos are great for food, Fishermans Chip Shot for a takeaway. Plas Mwa, Castle, and Castle Walls were great places to visit. We will definitively be back. We ❤️ Conwy

Betws is a great hub for exploring the Eryri National park. All the popular walking areas are not far away - and served by a bus service. The town is lovely and quaint not quiet with people but not too busy either, all of the locals we spoke to were very polite and very interested in tourists We went in and around Llangollen as there is a lot of amazing sites that cant be completed in one day, weather can be a factor, but was luckily on our side. The wild pheasant spa was lovely after climbing the waterfall at Pistyll Rhaeadr, from there we booked the stay at Cambrian house which was such a welcoming b&b. We travelled a little further out to Trevor to eat which wasnt too far but we wanted to head towards a supermarket on route we ate at a homely pub/restaurant with harty food called the "The Sun Trevor".

We saw the outside stadium (had no time for a tour of that facility), bought some Wrexham football club souvenirs downtown at a bigger store than is in the stadium, and enjoyed a pint and lively conversation in The Turf pub. Met a fellow who took us downtown and did an impromptu tour of Wrexham! He was knowledgeable and good fun! Getting around is easy via walking.

You can never have too long in Llanberis area!

You can never have too long in Llanberis area! The mountains & lakes are stunning, and there is so much else to explore too. Snowdonia has a magical quality to it that makes it so special. Llanberis is also a great base from which to explore outlying places e.g. during my trip, as well as completing my main goals of climbing Snowdon and Tryfan, I took daytrips from Llanberis to Caernarfon and Anglesey on one day and Llandudno & Conwy on the other, visiting castles, National Trust properties and beaches on teh way. The various driving routes to and from these places back to Llanberis were a joy in themselves. The nearby Pen-y-Gwryd hotel is so interesting, steeped in mountaineering / Everest history - although it was lovely to have the place almost to myself to look around, it is a shame it is not promoted a bit more as a place to visit for a cup of tea / place to stay.

I paid a short visit to Barmouth in December, which is out of season. I would like to return to undertake the Parkrun along the promenade at some time in the future. Also, there are motorcycle races held on the beach in October/November each year, which I am sure would be very entertaining. I would like also to tour Snowdonia National Park, which lies to the north of Barmouth.

We only stayed for one night to break up our journey from Ireland to where we live in Hertfordshire and couldn't have found a better property. We walked down to the Boathouse Hotel for something to eat which was only a 2-minute walk. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely do a repeat visit.
