This family run hotel in the heart of beautiful Chipping Norton is superb. The welcome we received was so appreciated and Linda and her Son and the entire team could not have done more to make our stay memorable. Our bedroom was beautiful and absolutely spotless. The restaurant is excellent as is the traditional quaint bar. We would heartily recommend this most excellent hotel. Perfection. Thanking you all!

Its a really nice town which is at the moment managing to keep its own character. Loads of history and interesting things about it. Lots of good pubs and restaurants. Lovely walks around the area including the Thames and the Ock rivers. Seems to be quite a few events going on as well. I would absolutely recommend it. Handy for other places - Oxford, even London.

I actually spent most of my time enjoying the architecture of the smaller villages around Thame. I found the little 13th century church of Great Haseley very charming. It had a war memorial to the Americans who died protecting the area and its authentic old architecture and church yard were just what I had in mind. Great Milton is dominated by its very expensive manor hotel but I hear the dining is worth the trip if you have the coin.
