The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, making us feel truly cared for. The service was flawless from the front desk to housekeeping, room service, and even the spa team, everyone was professional yet warm. The rooms were spotless and beautifully maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. What stood out the most was the hospitality. The team went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, often anticipating our needs before we even asked. Whether it was arranging transport, customizing meals, or simply checking in on how we were enjoying our stay they made us feel like VIPs. It was truly one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. We’re already planning our return. Highly, highly recommended!Guest review byRawanKuwait

Such a stunning place with a good vibe. The food is excellent and the team that work there are incredible. We loved every moment. My girlfriend fainted one morning on her way back to our room through heatstroke and I cannot commend the the La Joya team enough for acting so quickly and going the extra mile to make sure she was ok. Thanks so much and I'm sure we will be back again. 🤙Guest review byJanisNetherlands

The pool area is also nice and laidback. I want to special thank Baku for his huge effort. He gave us his WhatsApp number and had always good tips and solutions for us. We really appreciated that. The location of boho is just perfect: you got restaurants, shops, a gym, spa and shops nearby; but still quiet at nighttime. Highly recommended!Guest review byKatharinaGermany

Parts were lovely and the cliffs around the temple were amazing but be prepared for lots of traffic (especially scooters) so it takes a while to get anywhere and the public bits are a bit grotty. Couple of amazing places to eat (eg Nourish) and plenty of lovely massage options - we went to Zahra. Highly recommend going to a sunset dance performance - absolutely amazing!Guest review byNZ PennyNew Zealand - 4.0
We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area.
We spent two nights at the end of our holiday in this area. It was not for us. The area is dominated by large resorts and the main activities centre around surfing, or hanging out in a pricey resort/bar, or perhaps viewing artifical tourist sights. Admittedly some resorts are very nice and have nice views but it's not really my style of holiday to spend several hundred dollars to lounge on a sunbed on the coast. There are plenty of higher end places to eat in this area, but I didn't go to Indonesia to eat western food. The Indonesian options feel very samey and were better in other areas with more Indonesian diners. Even Ubud with its hordes of people felt more authentically like Bali than this area does. In all, if you want a resort style holiday or are a wealthy surfer then this is the area for you. If you want to mosey around and get a feel for Bali it is not. For other watersports, it would be better to go north e.g. for diving/snorkelling. Or go to another island altogether.Guest review byAlexanderNew Zealand - 10.0

Jimbaran is very laid back and traffic is not bad by Bali standards. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach and spent most of our time there. We did have a family dinner on the beach at sunset and that was a great experience. We also had a fantastic dinner at an Indian restaurant near the beach. I can’t wait to visit jimbaran again with my grandson and learn to surf!Guest review byhumphrey - 10.0
Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle,...
Fantastic culture, some great places to go in the middle, and North of the Island. I spent a week in Ubud, then a week on the South coast. I could have spent 2 weeks in Ubud, and based most of my travels from there. Beaches in the South are something else, great surf, etc. Things to note which you may not expect. Traffic is mental. Most roads are bad, poorly surfaced, narrow and congested. Most people get around by scooter, which is fine, but be prepared for the fumes if you're doing more than a pop-to-the-shops on one. And the endless 'sell'. I was taking my own picture at a restaurant and was told I would have to pay for it (Rice Terraces) They aren't all like that, don't get me wrong, but they will push it. Fun can be had with haggling, Rule of thumb, offer half their asking price, then work back from there. Be prepared to be followed down the street if you don't buy it. Food is amazing. Try the local dishes, so much better than the same dishes back home. And why would you fly half way round the world to have fish & chips in a different country? And, getting there. Get your visa before going, they have 40-ish automated passport gates, which you can use if you have a digital passport. Use the Gojek App for taxi, or even food and other things whilst you're there (Like Uber).Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Uluwatu is a great area in general and recently has evolved into quite more of not just a surf point but also a gastronomic and fashion center of Bali's top towns. A great place to come and take a vacation, all of the beaches are great and the great thing is that there's something for everyone.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

I recommend taking the shortcut on foot from the accommodation – turn left onto the main road, then immediately left again down a narrow alley. This will take you straight to the cafés, restaurants, shops, and spas. Be sure to visit Kelly's Warung at Bingin Beach, try a Pilates class at Fondue Studio, and enjoy dinner at Casa Asia.Guest review byKristinaCzech Republic - 8.0

Loved Uluwatu for all the restaurants & things to do The people & food are amazing. We werent going to hire a scooter but found it more dangerous walking as there were no footpaths & very uneven roads. On a scooter we were able to do alot of exploring around the area which was so much fun. We went to a wedding at The Uluwatu Cottages which was beyond amazing. The setting, food & attention to detail was next level!! My favourite place to eat was Nourish Cafe , Spring Spa was fantastic for some pampering & Sundays Beach Club was awesomeGuest review byDavidNew Zealand - 10.0

Compared to most other tourist areas in Bali Nusa Dua and Benoa is a much quieter and layback location if that is what you are looking for. There are lots of nice restaurants within short walking distance to most hotels. It's not a great place for children because I'd say they'd get bored quickly, but then that's a bonus for those for us who like a quiet location.Guest review byChrisAustralia - 8.0

The actual area is busy and noisy, but the seafood cafes on the beach are the real drawcard and should be experienced - with roving minstrels and choosing your own fish. The hotel was directly across one road to the cafes and beach but inside the property it was peaceful.Guest review bySueAustralia - 10.0
