An initial stay of 3 nights turned into 3 weeks, making Mandrem Beach Resort our home away from home in Goa. We first chose it for the location and quality, but it went beyond that. The food was delicious and it was a great experience to try some of the Goan dishes. But above all it was the kindness, helpful mindset and genuine friendliness of the staff that made all the difference. It started with the heartfelt greeting from the security guard at the entrance and on the beach side. In the reception Vishweta, Saurav, Kashmira, Rajashree and the others were always very helpful and friendly. Our meals were made better by the friendliness and helpfulness of Shaun, Gurunath, Rushikesh, Zeenal, Figo, Abhijit, Puja and Mario. The laundry service was excellent with a special thank you to Vishaka. Last but not least our dear friends at the pool Bejami and Ajay who always welcomed us with a smile.

Had a wonderful stay here. The property is located right in front of the beach, which made the experience even more special. The room was very spacious, neat, and clean, and the views from the balcony were absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous throughout our stay, and the internet connection was excellent. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing and comfortable beachside getaway.

From the moment we arrived at The Park Calungate Hotel, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of genuine hospitality and impeccable service. It was a delightful surprise to be personally greeted by the General Manager at check-in, a touch that instantly made us feel valued and welcome. This commitment to exceeding expectations was mirrored by every member of staff we encountered. A special mention must go to Sukhdev, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experiences were flawless truly elevated our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him or indeed any of the staff; their polite and helpful demeanor was consistent throughout our visit. Our room was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, it provided the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing by the pool. Speaking of which, the hotel's location is idyllic. Situated directly on the beach, with the soothing sounds of the waves just steps away, it offered a sense of serenity while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The culinary offerings at the Calungate Park Hotel were simply outstanding. The Christmas Day brunch was a magnificent feast, a true celebration of flavors and festive cheer. But honestly, every meal was a delight, from the beautifully presented breakfasts to the delicious à la carte options. The quality and freshness of the food were evident in every bite. The Park Hotel provided us with an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect blend of luxurious comfort, exceptional service, and a stunning location. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return for another wonderful stay.

One of the best property I have ever stayed in Goa. Worth the money and experience. I went with my husband and my mother. We took 2 delux rooms. The room is very spacious and big ans comfortabel for 2-3 person stay. On our request an extra bed was provided. The pool water quality is checked. Always cleaned. Service is on time. Resort food is so tasty and I always had my dinner at the beach from the resort. Enjoyed the peaceful and lovely evenings. The staffs are very helpful and arrange everything if needed. Like I celebrated my husband birthday. The decors was well arranged. They are pet and dog friendly. I simply loved this part. Loving pace for dogs cats. I will always chose this property for my next visit to Goa.

Everything worked as expected and was well organized. It looks like this is a nice place to work at. The atmosphere among the staff seemed very positive. You can’t fake that. Special thanks to our room attendant Niranjan, Rabi at the pool, and the guy who we use to do fistbumps with. Also the breakfast chef who made eggs deserves special thanks! All in all a very pleasent stay.

Not just calangute...entire north goa is a hype in the...

Not just calangute...entire north goa is a hype in the social media. Terrible traffic and congested roads...you will waste most of your time travelling. Even 2km distance takes 30 o 40 mins . Very noisy beaches with filthy food and drinks overcharged and simply looting the tourists. Always check the price of the food and drinks in case you decide to eat something from the beach restaurants. Conclusion - south goa is the best and agoda fort/beach truly picturesque. Stay in south and just visit 1 or 2 beaches in the north preferably in the early hours (6 to 7am) and come back.

It is not easy to get around Anjuna, everything is very spread out and at night the wild dogs are quite agressive which I struggled with. I enjoy walking, but here you need to have a car / scooter or take lots of taxis. The market was good, we ate in nice restaurants like The Tanjore Tiffin (a bit more up market and we loved it), MS Slow Tide and Pirates Cafe on the beach. We also had a night out in Juna nightclub - good fun with great cocktails. Overall I didn't like Anjuna much, we were there in the low season and we struggled with getting around and all the dogs. It really depends what you're looking for, but for me Candolim was a better location and we left Anjuna early to return there.

A great city with lots to do, and some lovely restaurants. Walking tours are a great way to see the city and the surroundings. I particularly recommend Old Goa, Divar Island, and Fontainhas. Local tour operator Make it Happen are great

Beach not crowded.

Beach not crowded. Good selection of beach shacks for food and drink. Well priced. Beach very safe for swimming. Life guards alwaya on duty. No problems getting lounge and umbrella. No cost, but you end buying drinks and food at very reasonable prices. At day at beach motivates you to come back for dinner. Brach shacks have good menu and drink selection. Mandrem not over run with beach vendors. Great peaceful beach with friendly beach shack staff.

Good locality.

Good locality. Not very close to busy side of Calangute and Baga. Not very far which is secluded. It is apt location as within 10 mins you can be on beach and busy place and can come back in quiet location for peaceful vacation. Also, for basic needs you have few stores nearby so you can manage easily with some restaurants nearby.
