The piazzas were quiet n the morning but were lively in the late afternoon and evening when people gathered for drinks and food. Never too noisy though. The hotel restaurant was fantastic. Gorgeous meal with lots of local specialties. The buffet breakfast offerings were varied and so delicious. The hotel is in a perfect location with easy access by walking to the beach and the ferry. It was a perfect weekend getaway. I would come back in a heart beat.

Rooms were nice, and spacious, decor needs a little updating but everything was clean.
It was a walk away from the train and also the castle. Although the hotel helped get us to the train station in the heat of the day. Overall a really pleasant experience for the little time we stayed there.

Right across the road from a big supermarket and close to some great restaurants. 15 minute walk to Rocca del Leone and the gorgeous historic town, and 5 minutes from the lake front. Felt super comfortable and safe here!

We had the most wonderful two weeks at La Casa di Campagna, hosted by the warm and welcoming Mara and Massimo at their idyllic Umbrian farmhouse. From the moment we arrived, the staff were always so friendly, smiley, and ready to help, which made us feel immediately at home.
The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the communal lounge area with its handy shared fridge and coffee maker. The property itself is spacious and beautifully kept, with a gorgeous swimming pool, plenty of loungers, and quiet corners throughout the gardens that are perfect for relaxing with a book.
The restaurant was a real highlight – the food is absolutely outstanding, with traditional regional Italian dishes full of flavour, lots of variety, and delicious daily specials. Breakfast each morning was a treat, with a plentiful buffet and the option of freshly cooked eggs and bacon.
All in all, La Casa di Campagna is not only a wonderful place to stay, but also perfectly located for exploring Umbria, Lake Trasimeno, and Tuscany. We truly loved every moment of our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Perfect position on lake front in centre of town, next to ferry & with free private car park. Breakfast room was nice. Our corner room on top floor facing lake & with balcony was very nice, bright & light & bathroom had great view of Centro Storico. Staff all nice & we are able to check in early because our room was ready. We only stayed one night but wish we’d booked for two as it’s a good base for exploring & plenty of restaurants to try in the town without needing to drive anywhere.

Such a pleasant surprise. View is beautiful. My room had a view of the pool and the wonderful lake in the background. Staff were friendly and tolerated me not speaking Italian. It’s an older style place - gives me nostalgia of holidaying in Europe as a child. But it’s clean, great character, and everything in good working order. Very pleased, thank you!

Fab staff, nice caravan, pool was excellent, the kids LOVED the slides, I loved the spa section, different depths, was lovely and quiet at certain points in the day. Restaurant was great, handy shop, good gelato, beautiful lake (to look at) great kids play areas, felt safe, close to train station and free shuttle from station

Gianni, the owner, is the man who knows everyone and will assist with anything, he is the main reason I will be coming back in future.

Location is excellent to visit around .
The stuff is excellent and breakfast is fantastic with all locals food. The swimming pool is in the middle of the property a great place to relax and enjoy the landscape.

Excellent location. The front desk lady on the day of my arrival was the best. Giving me advice on which pub and which restaurant to visit. Her advice was spot on. Parked the motorbike just outside the hotel and it was safe there.

Wonderful location to visit Umbria and Tuscany. The playground and swimming kept our toddler entertained for hours. Apartments are large, and each comes with a outdoor dinning table/area. Highly recommended.

Julia, the hostess, was outstandingly helpful and she spoke very good English.
The dinner and breakfast were particularly good. We ate dinner outdoors but in good shade from the evening sun.
There is a large swimming pool which has a superb view.
I highly recommend Romitorio agriturismo.

We stayed in the villa for 10 consecutive days on a star trip, the place and location are excellent, parking is close to the farm, the house is large, clean, tidy and spacious, the kitchen is always full of food, pastries and drinks, the owners are charming and take care of us all the time, the view is stunning, highly recommended for travelers in Umbria

Brilliant views from the pool and most rooms. Very nice atmosphere and good restaurant. We really enjoyed our evening meal - the outside patio is romantic and the place full. Good, local produce and wines.

This is not a busy tourist town.
This is not a busy tourist town. It is a nice quiet place on a hill looking out over the surrounding countryside and lovely lake.
The main square has a cafe / bar where you can enjoy an expresso and watch the world go by.
Some really good restaurants like the Osteria dell'accademia and Ristorante vecchio mulino. Also for a great breakfast, Sandwich or Pizza try Bar Hannibal. Its a great local bar very friendly and reasonable. Also next to one of the supermarkets so you can stock up and have a relaxing lunch.

I went for a concert but added on a couple of days. It is a small but beautiful medieval hilltop town with a calm relaxed atmosphere, great view of Lago Trasimeno and good restaurants (including a Michelin starred) with a range of Italian styles and cost.

San Feliciano is very small as a town but served as a good base to travel out and about from. Other towns further along may cater better for tourists looking for a nightlife beyond just local restaurants. We stayed in a villa that was on the outskirts, so catered for ourselves picking up produce from the local markets and supermarkets. In the main town there were a few restaurants and cafes along the lakes edge and it was a very sleepy tranquil place at the time of year we visited end of August early September. It was great if you want to escape the touristy busyness and absorb the natural beauty of the place. It was very peaceful and calm just what we needed before getting back to busy lives.

Amazing peaceful relaxing place to stay, accommodation is exceptional, breakfast was included which was magnificent, they have a restaurant for dinner! Swimming pool was large with lots of chairs around! Views are incredible! Drove around the lake and stopped at lots of little towns,!

Panicale is a wonderfull old town on top of the hill with townwalls and narrow streets, and beautiful small squares. Good restaurants and even a small theatre and festival in september. Carparking on the streets close to the hotel is possible not for free. From the town panoramic views on Lake Trasimeno!
