Rooms were simple, but spacious, very clean and comfortable, we slept like babies. Staff was DELIGHTFUL, very warm, but professional.

Everything is very fresh and new. We had a room with private bathroom. The birds singing was very soothing and we had great rest here.
Be aware that breakfast needs to be ordered in advance and there are no shops or cafes nearby. We brought our own food so it was not a problem.
Do ask owner about the wine they are making and taste it. It is absolutely marvelous and won some awards.

I honestly liked everything! Is a beautiful, calm place, surrounded by forest, great views, the house was well equipped, as well the outdoors, boats to have fun in the water, full of toys for kids. Loreta was super kind and welcoming. Couldn't be more happy with our stay! Recommended 100%

We were stopping in Panevėžys overnight on our way to catch...
We were stopping in Panevėžys overnight on our way to catch the ferry in Tallinn. We were pleasantly surprised by the town centre, which was nearby in walking distance along a river, full of restaurants and locals enjoying a warm night out. It felt very safe.

honestly, i have no idea why would one want to go to Birzai, there's absolutely noting to see or do there. well, unless you come from an even smaller village or a farm and then it may look like a busy town with lots of fun things to do. or, if you live in prairie, then you may be impressed by the lake. but otherwise, well, go elsewhere.

On Saturday, shops in the city center close at noon. If you need something, you have to look at shopping centers. There seems to be enough places to eat. You can just walk around the city, didn't find anything very outstanding.

A beautiful, cozy, tidy, quiet town surrounded by nature. There is much to see around.
The observation tower, surrounded by beautiful nature, can be walked around.
Biržai Castle, where you can also eat (Pilies skliautai). It looks very luxurious and antique.
Astrava Palace, which can be reached both by car and on foot. The Astrava Palace can be reached on foot from the city center via the pedestrian bridge. Beautiful views.
In the restaurant "Beer Road" you can not only have a delicious meal, but also book a tour.
There is a very cozy Biržai teahouse in the city center. It has a large selection of teas, coffees and a variety of treats. You will also see the Antique Teapot Gallery.
Of course there is much more to see in Biržai.

The fifth largest town in Lithunia feels fifth in many points. Was not bad but lacking comparing to three largest cities of Lithuania. It has nicely renovated waterfront. Shopping, eating out is all there.
