The beds were super comfortable and I loved the gym, which is one of the most spacious I’ve seen with natural light coming in from everywhere. I love SIRO’s lifestyle concept with breakout areas for hanging out, working, conversing, an open kitchen with indoor/outdoor areas. To walk out into the square where there is an array of shops and a grocery store and even a rock climbing wall is amazing. And just one step away from the port. The rooftop wasn’t complete, but I took a people and the views and atmosphere are amazing. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, making our stay extra delightful. I had lunch at the restaurant which had the perfect blend of local and healthy cuisine. Definitely a place I can’t wait to return to.

The staff was very friendly and proffesional. Breakfast were rich, tasty and good quality.
All the hotel equiped with high quality matterials and nice interier decissions.
The hotel located right to promenada and many restourants, however in the roome was very quite with closed windows (we noted that windows are with three glasses!)
La Roche will be definatelly our choice for the next trip to Tivat!

IndiaWe had a lovely 3 night stay at Carrubba that sits right on the bay if Tivat. Gorgeous Stone walls and sea views. Clean spotless rooms the seaside theme aesthetic with a mixture of art and curio pieces makes for interesting decor. As a family we had 4 rooms. The suite on the ground floor. The large room in the Annexe and 2 rooms on the 2nd floor all overlooked the water. Unfortunately no lift so hauling luggage was a pain but staff helped out. Built around the carob street, starlings nestled over the entrance and a ginger cat rests peacefully in the sun. The restaurant attached- Punto Crudo has a lovely garden at the back as well the the seafacing terrace. The food is very good! The chef is well trained. Breakfasts are amazing with a "starter" of chia pudding a French pastry and fruit and the "mains" had amazing truffle eggs (real grated truffle) or cheesy French omelettes or Pancake with mascaporne and fruit compotes.
Service was very good Nick who checked us in. Anna and Aleksandra were all amazing.
We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. It was very clean and well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, and coffee machine. The beach and pool access were wonderful bonuses.
The fast and stable WiFi (~400 Mbps) was perfect for our remote work needs. The location is ideal, with a supermarket, cafes, and restaurants just a few meters away, plus a great walking path by the sea.
Overall, the property exceeded our expectations, and we highly recommend it.

What a gem! This hotel combines great service with thoughtful amenities. The reception staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, even recommending places to visit in Mne and helping with transportation.The location is decent. But the best part was definitely great Kosher food as it's near impossible to find in Montenegro. I’ll definitely return!

Great place to relax! The apartment was very clean and has everything that you need. The staff is super friendly and helpful, they made my stay with 2 kids very comfortable. The location is awesome.
It was my last minute reservation and we were happy to stay there.

After spending some time in Tivat, living near Porto...
After spending some time in Tivat, living near Porto Montenegro — I can say it’s one of the most pleasant places I’ve stayed. The living here combines the best of a small coastal town and a lively, comfortable city.
You get the sea, the yachts, the walking promenade, beautiful views of the bay and mountains — all just minutes from your apartment. Shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and everyday amenities are right nearby, making life easy and convenient.
The climate, the sea breeze, the calm rhythms of life and friendly locals create a sense of peace and balance. It’s a perfect place if you want to be productive and at the same time enjoy relaxed Mediterranean living.
For me — it’s a spot where hustle and comfort meet, where work and lifestyle find a smart balance. Tivat near Porto Montenegro feels like home and inspiration at the same time.

The town was a big disappointment — the beach feels like a construction site, with houses and villas built right up to the shoreline. No natural shade, lots of concrete, and sharp stones when entering the water. Restaurants are overpriced with bland food. The price–quality ratio is terrible, and I wouldn’t return.

I found the town itself not quite my vibe but the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. When I need to come back I will make sure to rent a car so I an explore more. The town is a great base for that with everything you need for convenience. Just not much to do in itself but great as a base to explore the region I think. I did find a nice ancient Roman path with ruins just walking distance from my accommodation. It wasn’t mentioned on google maps or in local signage. But that was special.

Tivat is a gorgeous town with the original town with few...
Tivat is a gorgeous town with the original town with few shops and bars/restaurants used by the locals. Porto Montenegro is a modern part of the town with lovely restaurants, designer shops and great facilities - still reasonable food and friendly staff. Tivat is a great base to explore the coastal resorts including Perast, Kotor, Budva etc.
Public transport is not great so would recommend hiring a car - plenty of parking everywhere (although do your research to find the better car parks in each town as there are some dodgy private car parks which we managed to avoid).

A scenic place, some places for sightseeing and hiking are close or reachable by car or taxi. The place is not overcrowded and beaches less busy than in Tivat and Kotor. I would recommend to those willing to be outside the crowds.

I recently spent a few days in Tivat, Montenegro, and honestly, I was surprised by how much I fell in love with this little coastal town. It’s small, calm, and effortlessly beautiful — the kind of place that doesn’t try too hard to impress you but still totally does.
The first thing that caught my eye was Porto Montenegro. It’s stunning — full of fancy yachts, chic restaurants, and designer shops, but somehow it doesn’t feel pretentious. I loved walking along the marina in the evenings, gelato in hand, watching the sun dip behind the mountains. It’s glamorous, sure, but also relaxed in that easy Mediterranean way.
One of my favorite days was spent at Plavi Horizonti Beach. The water there is ridiculously clear, and it’s shallow enough to just float around for hours. I also took a quick hike up Vrmac Hill, which gave me the most incredible views over the Bay of Kotor — definitely worth the effort!
What I really appreciated about Tivat was the balance. You can have a fancy dinner overlooking the marina one night, and the next, enjoy a quiet meal at a local restaurant where the seafood tastes like it came straight from the ocean (because it probably did). Agape (in Porto) was my absolute favourite. 1000/10.
Tivat might not be as famous as Kotor or Budva, but that’s part of its charm. It feels peaceful, safe, and genuinely welcoming. If you’re looking for a place to slow down, soak up some sun, and enjoy good food with even better views, Tivat is absolutely worth adding to your travel list.
