We really liked how the space inside the room was structured. Respect to the architect! We have traveled to over 70 countries, and we have never seen such a convenient, functional, and beautiful organization of a room space of 47 m². We didn’t even want to leave this room—it was so cozy and home-like. The same can be said about the pool, which looks like an architectural masterpiece! The greenery and palm trees create a sense of closeness to nature, which is so necessary in a metropolis. The main restaurant, located on the 38th floor, is also very well-structured: the placement of tables along the panoramic windows allows all guests to enjoy not only the food but also the surrounding views. The breakfasts are good. We were pleasantly surprised and delighted by the area with fresh greens presented in pots—you can cut the freshest leaves yourself with scissors! This is incredible and greatly appreciated by guests who follow a healthy and balanced diet. In Kuala Lumpur, we stayed at three hotels (Mandarin Oriental and Shangri-La), but Grand Hyatt impressed us the most. From now on, we will only stay here. 😉

Genius benefits got us upgraded for free to Thinker Two Type 2 which includes 2 bedrooms. Location: It is a 10-15 minute walk to Kerinchi or to University station. We prefer the University station since we get to pass by a mall. In front of the hotel is Food City, a food hall with lots of food choices. Breakfast Food: Breakfast food was limited and minor food changes were made during our stay. It was not a big matter to us. Amenities: We got to use the laundry which costs 10 ringgit each for washing and drying. The gym and game room was also nice! The pool and the view was great, we swam every day of our stay. Room: Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable, a small kitchen was provided which was very useful to us, TV was working and has youtube and other apps. Bathroom size is adequate with shampoo & body wash included (no dental kits). The view was great too! Overall, It may be quite far from Bukit Bintang & KLCC (as a tourist), but we wouldnt think twice and we'll book here again on our trip to Kuala Lumpur.

A calm oasis in the centre of KL. It’s an amazing place where you wake up to birdsong. Feels like staying at a retreat. Superb pool swim able from the back of ground floor rooms. Our room had a very large plunge pool/jacuzzi which was amazing. Unusual herbal teas complimentary in the room which was incredibly spacious. Staff in restaurant were knowledgeable (special mention to waiter M N Amin) who told us about local dishes. Breakfast was a wide array of continental/Asian options. Walkable-30 mins to Petronas towers in a quiet embassy area.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We booked two double rooms and they managed to give us connecting rooms with views of KLCC. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.The pool was lovely as was the gym. Free parking, we could also take the pedestrian bridge to walk to KLCC so location was great. Definitely recommended and will book again.

We already stayed multiple times at the Swiss Garden Hotel, the rooms are nice, the staff is very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. We were sad to hear that the hotel will no longer exist as swiss garden. Hopefully the new one offers the same anameties.

I found the city to be clean & efficient, easy to find my way around and exceptionally clean. The architecture was impressive! I especially loved the location and set-up of KLCC Park, right in the middle of all the action & facilities! The Malls were some of the best I have found anywhere in the World, ... even at home in Canada.

Kuala Lumpur is a vibrant, easy city to navigate, with a great mix of modern infrastructure and everyday local life. Getting around was simple using Grab and public transport, and there are plenty of food options at every price point. I felt safe walking around on my own, even in the evenings, and people were generally polite and helpful. The city can feel busy and humid at times, especially during peak hours, but that’s part of its energy. Overall, it’s a welcoming, convenient city that’s very comfortable for solo travellers.

Lovely City, can be as cheap or expensive as you want it to be. Hotel is quite central to things. Maybe 30 min walk to most things or a 10 min grab ride is traffic is okay! Lovely food there and the people are so lovely too
