This is definitely a paradise on earth. Please ignore all negative comments, Souly Lodge is simply gorgeous and perfect for anyone looking for peace, relaxation and recreation. The bungalows are lovingly furnished with everything you need: Kettle, small fridge, sitting area inside and outside on the terrace and the highlight of course the outdoor shower. We have never been able to relax like we did here in any other place in the world. You get up in the morning and look directly at the sea, everything is very clean and well maintained. The flamingos walk along the beach and you can also watch the dolphins. Where else can you find this untouched nature? But best of all are the staff. We are still overwhelmed by the loving and helpful nature of each and every one. The kind and extremely competent gentleman at the reception, the service staff (especially Nizan and Abul), the loving Mrs. Pascale in the souvenir shop - they made our stay, which we extended immediately, a very special experience. And of course the food was also very good!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, please keep up the good work! We hope to see you again soon :)

The breakfast was very decent. They kept changing the menu every day so we didn't had to eat same stuff every day. We had an executive suite with 2 rooms so the room was decent size with nice and comfy beds. Staff was friendly and the hotel was decently cleaned. The location of the hotel is pretty amazing and gives easy access to the main highways, nearby attractions and a lot of eating options. The AC and heater was working perfect. Excellent staff both at the front desk and in the breakfast area. fully equipped hotel and spotlessly clean on top. very good breakfast, located in the city area but outside the busy center. parking for vehicles of all size available. Very good value for money and once again: very, very helpful staff all over- happy to help and support wherever needed. The resort will certainly be our first choice when in the city again!

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect...

the beaches are spectacular, the location is really perfect if you look for a quite and familiar place. Everyone is friendly and helpful. the surrundings are stunning and the trip is aboslutely worth it. There are several resorts in the area but they are very decent and not invasive.

Salalah and especially the surrounding mountains contain a unique environment with magical natural views. But, if you want to see the lush green landscapes and waterfalls, make sure to come in the correct monsoon season known as khareef, which is during the summer months. Once the rains stop, the waterfalls dry up and the lush greenery turns dry and yellow. I came in November, which is a perfect time for nature photography as there is no rain to damage the camera and nature is still very alive, but all waterfalls had already completely dried up and the lush greenery was gone. The region, like the entire country, is very safe, with friendly and helpful people.

A quiet, quaint city with a seemingly tight-knit community and fantastic sights. We arrived at the end of the Khareef season but did not miss out on any greenery, beautiful birds, roaming camels, and absolutely great water features such as springs, streams, and waterfalls!
