Hue hotel & resort was my last accommodation in the Philippines and it was the best ending! It situated on a busy road but it was built in a way that every rooms are in the back, so no noise pollution! It has an amazing rooftop with a swimming pool, spa & bar. The large swimming pool offers a view of the street with his glass edge! Hue has also an excellent restaurant which offers a room service and a very diverse selection of breakfast! The staffs were very friendly and helpful. It’s a must when you’re in Puerto Princesa!

Then we moved to the Water Villa towards the end of our stay - what an exceptional room to stay in. This place is amazing. We WILL be back. To all the staff members that helped make our stay pleasant: Khai, Jorge (driver), Josie, Dimple, Cly, Vivian, Ruth, Chris, John, Alvin, Mabelle, Beth, Shane, Ricky & Sharlyn. The place is outstanding. Right by the sea, with a fantastic view. There is also a swimming pool with an adjacent restaurant. The staff is friendly and accommodating, you are always greeted with a smile and the people are very helpful. You really feel welcome as a guest. The spacious rooms have high ceilings and the glass doors facing the sea are very thick. This insulates the heat very well. You only need the Aircom very little (if at all). The breakfast buffet is lucious and extensive. There are also chefs available to fulfill your every wish.

Need to have more efficient traffic management during peak hours. The LGU should improve, sustain and maintain infrastructure esp the port and the walkway.. When we went to the port to buy streetfood the stalls are sitting in rough ground and very muddy after rain. It is not good to see for visitors to walk around and wondering where tourism tax are spent for? More people will have a fruitful stay in the city if the place is worth staying for few more days befire heading to E Nido and other popular places..

We did the underground river tour.

We did the underground river tour. It was rainy but still worth it. It was one of the most unique experience for us to see how the river caves formed and all the different stalagtites and stalagmites formation Other attractions we would probably like to see is Honda Bay.

Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the...

Every day I walked from the hotel to Sabang wharf on the beach and on one day had coffee, adobo and itlog in a small cafe there. Everyone was very friendly, and I bought some Pasalubong, when they did not have my tee shirt size, they went to another shop to get it for me and to get change when I gave them 1000 peso note. I asked directions to the falls, but no one was exactly sure where it was or how long it would take to get there. The place was secure (police station at the wharf and coastguard and army regularly on patrol in the area. I eventually found the park that a friend recommended (5 km from the hotel) and had an excellent buffet lunch there twice and again they made Chester very welcome, the park was free and had some interesting, recycled artworks and a tribute to the devastation in the area by Typhoon Odette- well worth a visit. Also visit Buenavista viewpoint- the local community run it and you can get Buko juice, coffee, snacks and Pasalubong plus take great photos of the bay

We didnt spend a lot of time in the Puerto itself sadly, given our resort was 90 minutes away but we made a couple of day trips and Puerto seems more relaxed & laid back than most cities in the Philippines with plenty of activities.
